Good Saturday Morning Spies!

86, cloudy & drizzling in Central Florida.  Hopefully rain will lift in time for 2:30 tee time. Learning disability for booking tee times for FL afternoon golf, but course is relatively empty that time of day, makes for a quicker round.

Good Luck @Jnoble89 in Member Guest!

I hope we do have a dry stretch @Rickp.  Radar showing storm moving in from West Coast across southern Orange County. Hey but played we've played in worse conditions in Florida! 🤣🤣

Good morning from Matt's west coast timezone, went from recovery from yesterday's golf marathon to yard work as soon as SWMBO started talking about how much fun I have with golf - edging done and attachment swapped out on the powerhead with cuttings blown onto the front yard for returning what came from the soil right back at it.  Nursing a Chai black hot tea after lunchtime still thinking about yesterday's Scramble golf tournament that started 10am and the PGA HOPE Down Range play at 5:30pm for a total of 27 holes on the day ⛳ too much sun with free entertainment by all aircraft flying into the Buffalo Airport KBUF using the short runway 32 passing overhead low and loud.  Actually heard the wake vortex behind the larger planes 😮  now let's see about getting the red mulch down to make her happier 🙂

Good morning spy's wow after having two extremely different days of golf, 68 on Thursday, 80 Friday, 23 putts on Thursday, 33 putts Friday, so let me tell you I was ready to stop playing competitive golf last night.

But had a good sleep last night, had a good talk with my buddy and am feeling better today, fished my clubs out of the river and back in the saddle so to speak lol...

Have a great day everyone...

Really wierd how you can putt like a surgeon one day and bricklayer the next... on the same course and conditions 🤪.

Good late Morning everyone!  Got up early, but had some early honey-dos.

I keep losing stuff!  Each year it seems to get worse.  Yesterday, I decided it was time to replace my Callaway PM Grind 60º wedge; the club I use for most all shots within 50 yards of the green including bunkers.  Fortunately, I bought a new one on sale at our clubhouse a couple of years ago... dang if I can find it!!  It's probably with the MacGregor 8i head that I haven't been able to locate for 6 months!  I removed the head from the shaft and have been waiting to put a new shaft in it.  I have the old shaft, but I must have put the head someplace for safe keeping.  🙄  Things disappear, but eventually show up when I'm looking for something else.

Update!  After posting this I decided look ONE MORE TIME... must be at least 6 times... and after some digging through stuff in my garage, I found the 60º wedge and my Mac 8i right next to each other.  Apparently I moved some golf stuff when I had my hitting bay built last year.  I wish I had posted this months ago.  I just figured it would show up some day.  Now I need to reshaft the 60º from a KBS Hi-Rev 115 wedge (don't like the feel or maybe I'm just used to the KBS Tour 90 Regular flex in my old 60º), and shaft the Mac 8i... probably with a Recoil 65 F2 flex ( I want to compare the graphite Recoil with the steel Nippon Zelos 8 shaft in my gamer MacGregors).

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Yup, we had thunderstorms roll thru here today but not a lot of rain, sporadic short showers.  No irrigation tonight again!!

Good morning everyone.  I had a long day yesterday taking my mother up to PA to sign paperwork to sell her house finally and do some bank account stuff.  I also had to get some painting done as sale prep.  I got to sleep early so i woke up at 5 and got caught up on lots of threads.

I hoped to get in some golf this afternoon but we have a 99% chance for storms in my golf window.  I am headed out to make sure the gutters are clear.

USPS is playing keep away with my wedge head so i wont be installing the shaft in that until tomorrow.

Have a great day

Good Sunday morning spies! Day two of the member/guest tournament starts at 8:30 today. Two more rounds to get in and we need some help to get enough points to get to the shootout. Starts with winning both matches. I played poorly yesterday but today is a new day. Hoping to keep the ball in play off the tee and go from there, lost too many shots OB yesterday and that did not turn into being able to win holes.

Good morning spies! The wife and I made it back home from our honeymoon late last night and man oh man does it feel great to be home. It felt great to sleep in our own bed and be back with our pets. It was an amazing trip, but it feels good to be home.

I also didn't have service the entire time we were in St. Lucia so it feels great to check back in on the forum. It felt weird not posting in the morning and seeing what was going on with y'all. We are taking it easy today and doing some unpacking. Unfortunately, I also have some grad school to work on. No golf today, but it's supposed to be a beautiful week, so plenty of golf to be played.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Good morning everyone! I was up way too late last night and am trying to get going this morning. We hung out with some friends and tend to lose track of time sitting around enjoying their company.

@CSiders12 it sounds like you had a wonderful honeymoon and congratulations on your marriage.

There's not much on the agenda for today, we had storms roll through early this morning and it's pretty wet outside.

I hope y'all have a wonderful day!

Good Morning Spies,

Brewed a cup to go and headed out to the Sugar Top Bake Shoppe. It was wildlife day today. A fox and a deer crossed the road ahead of me on the way home. No golf today but a practice session is on tap. I will book tee times for the week though.

wishing all a lovely day.

Good morning All,

No golf on the schedule today, but you never know what the day might bring… Upon reflection of yesterday’s round, I shot a 76. It both shows how far my game has come and how far my game still has to go. May have to sneak up to the range for a virtual round after all 😉

A peaceful and happy Sunday to you all!

Happy Sunday, gang. No golf in the forecast today, unless I can sneak a round in later this evening. We’re hosting a little gathering at our place, some friends and their kids are coming to hang out, play games, do some swimming, and chow down on pizza.

Good morning spy's

no tournament golf today, just came off 3 day tournament, struck the ball well, read the greens terribly... shot 68-80-80. so a bit gobsmacked right now, so today i will go to my next tournament site and do some green reading and work on that. get the speed of the greens and get some confidence in that.

Have a great day everyone...

Sounds like you need to do more Takomo irons only rounds since you shot 74 doing that 😆

what is the name of the irons?

Caley 01 and 01t. They are the OEM offering the testing opportunity that was announced yesterday. They look similar to the Takomo 101 & 101t. They have a good look about them.
