Good morning everybody! It's an early start to the work day for me, Monday's we have to get going thirty minutes earlier to verify that equipment changes over the weekend are good. 

It's a nice morning outside and my coffee is warm and delicious. We have a three day weekend coming up and I'm looking forward to that.

GM & Happy Monday!!  Coffee/light breakfast and off to a Exec 9.  Not thrilled with this Exec but I’m out playing.  This is a great group of guys with a couple of very good players.

Looking forward to another week and hoping for some drier days this week though it is looking like off and on rain again most of the week. Good morning Spies from a much damper, cooler, and cloudier Michigan.

Had a much need steady, rainy day yesterday, and through Tuesday it is supposed to be very similar. Today not as much rain, but cloudy and cool.

Already at work, so plenty of coffee down, and currently waiting for a collection of data to be exported so I know what to expect to be inquired about later this week.

Hope all have a great day, no matter what you may be doing or not doing.

Back in NY after a really fun weekend in NC .. lotta good, and bad , golf but another great MGS buddies trip!!

Fortunately a fairly easy trip back for me, save for a small delay in the flight landing and then pulling up to a gate. 

But oh yeah this old guy's swing muscles are pretty tired and sore after 3 challenging 18 hole rounds squeezed into a day and half - but way worth it!

R&R day!!!

Good morning all! Got about 6 hours left in the ride back from NC this morning. 
 

having some breakfast and then we will be hitting the road. I’ve got to say I had a such a good time down there with some good spies and look forward to future events. I’ve got a lot to update with more photos, round recaps, and Edel updates, but that will have to wait until I’m home!

until then here’s on of my favorite photos from the weekend. It’s @Getoffmylawn with some nice form hitting his approach shot.  if you look closely up ahead you’ll notice my drive up ahead on the right of his about 15-20 yards past.
 

I have to tease Hayes because most of the time he was well past my drives, so I took advantage when I could do that so I could win an internet argument.

Good morning all from a very cool Wisconsin. Got down to 40 last night and highs in the 60s today. Going to start my Monday routine of driving range practice today and looking forward to that. Thinking my primary focus will be on long irons today and picking targets to try and get close to on each shot. I’ve been super comfortable with 8 iron and down, but 7 and up has been a bit of a struggle with fat misses and that has been hindering my approach game. Maybe finish with some hybrid/3 wood and a few drives. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning and Happy Monday!    Hope everyone's week is starting off great.

I played with my son yesterday in a Parent/Child 2 person scramble tournament - we had a great time.  Shot an 82 (+10) which I thought was great for us.  Winning score on course 1 was -8 and course 2 was -7.   (288 golfers...it was crazy)

Today I am playing a fundraiser 4-person scramble for work!  A little stiff today but that will work itself out!

Morning all! Rough one over here - spent 3 hours Saturday clearing out some storage units, and yesterday my back deteriorated quickly. So instead of golfing in the afternoon as I had planned, I was laid out on the couch with a heating pad. The three flights of stairs up to my office today were not fun. Hoping things loosen up as the day progresses.

Good morning fellow spies. Getting in my daily dose of caffeine while preparing for the necessary ingredients to brew some beer later today. Took about 6 months away from brewing when life got busy so excited to get the system fired up again. Any other home brewers among us? Play league on Wednesday and then Fathers Day events all weekend starting on Friday night. Not as much golf in the forecast but it's gonna be a fun one none the less.

Hey, I brew a little beer myself! I’m planning to brew one later this week that is a lighter wheat beer that my friends and I call “Range Balls” because it’s made for crushing! Lol

Good morning everyone! I’m doing some last minute prep before the realtor comes over this morning to take pictures of our house. Putting it on the market this week which means a lot of excitement and nervousness in our household! Plenty of things going on this week for us, but I’ll be sure to make time to get a round in tomorrow & Wednesday before it gets too hectic. Have a day!

Cool! Brewing a hazy IPA today and then a regular/non-hazy IPA on Wednesday. Not really a west coast style but more like Bell's Two-Hearted if you're familiar.

I've been know to brew a few from time to time. I made a Honey Chocolate Porter a while ago and both versions turned out really well. First batch was a "traditional" batch; the 2nd opted to try Champagne yeast and ended up w 14%. It was really tasty too- just had to be a little bit careful when you opened it. My best batch (IMHO) was a Belgian White- but it was kinda finnicky (different storage temps etc...). But it turned out great.

Good morning "spy's" 

I need to talk about how important this win by Nick Taylor is for Canadian Golf and our sport. 

I don't know if you have heard but we are a hockey country, but we love golf. We play golf, yes  90% of the country doesn't golf until May long weekend but once the courses open, we golf, we talk golf, we drink golf and we dust winter off and play golf.

It is such a family game in Canada, we talk about our parents playing golf, our grandparents playing golf and our great grandparents playing golf. We talk about our siblings playing golf, I guess you get the point.

In my mind there is one person that ignited this batch of great Canadian golfers and thank you Mike Weir for winning the 2003 Masters. This batch watched that and somewhere deep in their consciousness it triggered they could play this game at a hight level.

And Golf Canada. Now I wasn't in the room when a group of "golfers" said,  and I am supposing this not quoting this "we develop elite hockey players in this country why don't we put a plan in place to develop elite golfers in this country" And that is exactly what they did. I believe the man they tasked for this is Doug Roxburgh, Canadian golf hall of fame recipient and my friend.

Anyway I will never forget "where I was" when that 72 foot putt dropped..

Good Morning!

Up a bit early this morning for an 11AM tee time with my best friend.

Here's hoping the round goes better than my range time last night.  Finally got around to evaluating a Dunlop Loco 11-degree driver that I purchased new a couple of years ago and the shaft is just horrible. 

Sipping on a soda rather than coffee this AM.  Looked out my front door this morning and noted a water main break two doors down from my place, so I didn't make coffee, just in case there's something up with the water.

Top of the pot spies . Another week with four rounds on the schedule.  My exercise routine and post round heating bean bag seems to be keeping the bearing greased.  Finishing up our second cups of coffee and watching this guy who visits this spot in the morning sun pretty regularly.  We think he lives inside or under our hose reel box.

 

Time for a couple of huevos and toast.  One of my fishing buddies showed me a way to cook/poach eggs that require no butter/oil in a non-stick pan, never get burned, and brain dead easy to get that perfect solid white and flowing yolk .  Add some Tapatio, salt and pepper... voila. 

1107 tee time today at Desert Springs.  The good thing about our Monday later tee times is that its a bit more conducive for having a beer or two afterwards.  Have a great day everybody.

Beautiful morning in Central Florida, already at 81 degrees!  Summer is finally here !  No golf today, work got in the way!  
Well stated @Jim Shaw, what a win by Nick Taylor!  Talk about the dramatics, draining a 72 footer in 4th playoff hole! That was awesome! Congrats to Canada and Canadian Golf!
