How do you mark your ball (not ball marker)?

MSG (or anyone else), for those that mark their ball with an alignment line, is the any evidence to suggest where the optimal place is to draw that line? Otherwise, one green dot of either side of Titleist.

I put it in a different place depending on the ball I'm using. I like to start at the number and go to my initials. I avoid drawing over anything printed on the ball.

I use a red sharpie to mark through the titleist

I rarely get that line straight - LOL

I putt perpendicular to that line - I use it as rough estimate and adjust

Most of the time I let my daughter draw things on it, like little candy canes for Christmas, candy corn for Halloween, she just did some little bees and flowers for Spring. Other times I'll randomly draw things on my golf balls during Zoom meetings.

I just put my initials top right of the ball logo. Usually in Black.

I really appreciate you taking the time to take a look at that.  Those look much better than ones I've received in the past.

Also, how good does a fresh dozen always look...

I’ve used a variety of ways to mark my ball.  For a while, I had more arrows and lines than the white ball :-).  Currently using the Vice Pro Drip and sooooo far no one in my group uses similar ball so currently going with no mark since the Vice Drip is unique.  Now to keep shots in MY fairway to reduce ball theft

I don't mark my ball.  Maybe I should....never really had a problem since my ball generally never goes where the other people's ball goes, if you know what I mean!!!  I also use the line or branding on the ball to line up putts and I don't add a line.
