Really interested in how you get along with the Cobra irons @chisag. I know you ordered them and disliked the look so much you sent them back, I'm thinking they'll look a lot better now than they did before haha. Congrats again to you, @sirchunksalot, @CFreddie, @Jnoble89, @Tom the Golf Nut, and @JerryB on this huge honor. Ready to see the competition unfold!

Well not quite, @CFreddie has been a member less than two months.   So there goes the theory that the same people get picked and you hve to have thousands of posts over years to be picked for a test, let alone the biggest test of the year. 
 

So no pressure CF

No doubt! And just to add to this I've seen occasions where the newer members are the most motivated to do a great job in testing.

I'll throw in there that I am a first time tester, too, so there goes the theory that you can't get picked for a big test for your first one! 

 

And yes, I am adding additional pressure now to myself because I may have a screw or two loose

Look at that...busting myths all over the place.   

Yours and everyone elses selectiion shows, all it take is just an honest effort be an active member of the forum, whether you've been here 1 month or 10 years.    

Of course there will be comments from people with 10 posts in 5 years, that they never get picked.  But trust me the staff isn't going to trust someone with 10 posts with a $2,000 to $3,000 bag of equipment to all of a sudden become a very engaged member let alone not disappear with the equipment and never be heard from again.

I'm really looking forward to getting the fitting done, it should be interesting. I've had one so so iron fitting where the fitter was just asking what I thought about this shaft and that shaft. I've also had a driver fitting the was a bit more comprehensive. Both turned out well, but the thought of going to a nicer fitting center excites me and as long as I don't get a case of the @GolfSpy_SAM's, I'll be ok.

You're going to love getting a professional fitting.
