Titleist T Series Irons - 2023 Forum Review

That stinks! It looks like it might have been loose for a bit and let moisture inside as I can see the rust on the backside of the face. Pretty disappointing. 

I’m at Dicks now getting a return order processed. Now I wondering if the other irons might have this same issue.

Ok, folks here's the deal.  Dicks called Titleist and got a return authorization to have all the irons returned. They will be inspected and fixed as required.  Great customer service! They will be gone for up to 3 weeks.  Whew, I'm glad that's taken care of and I have another set of irons to bag until the Titleist irons are shipped back.

Can’t say I’m surprised that a big company like Titleist would stand by their product like that but at the same time, it’s really great to see Titleist stand by their product and do right by their customers.

... @GregB135  @GolfSpy_BEN and @bens197 I was looking at the T200's long irons to combo with my Cobra King Tour irons with T200 5-7 and KT 8-pw. I went into Golf Galaxy to order the T200 5 iron at $200 and see how it blends with the KT's. As always I am looking in the used club section bcoz ya never know if there is a rare crazy bargain unless you look, and there is a set of T200's 5-pw and 48* W still in plastic for $899. The 9 iron was the only club without plastic and it looked like it was hit exactly once, the mark easily wiped off. Exact same T200 irons on the shelf for $1399.   I had $80 in GG coupons so $819 for a full set of brand new T200's was just too good to ignore. 

... So I will re-shaft the whole set with Steelfibers and put them in play before deciding on a potential combo with the King Tours. I imagine there will be a mint set of Cobra Forged Tec's in the classifieds very soon.

Obviously, I can’t speak to the scoring irons, but the 5 & 6 are so effortless to hit, it’s almost cheating. I’m sure they will treat you well

And if/when you decide that you don’t like, or you don’t want to keep, the T200 irons (or the short irons in that set) with the SteelFiber 95-R shafts in them, you can sell them to me.

Since you’d hit the 2021 T100S I think we would all expect a comparative post that I am sure you’re already working on

200’s and steel fibers are going to be a very nice setup!

Still waiting for my T350s to return.  Three weeks was the timeline mentioned and it's right around there now.

I received a call from Dicks today that my T350's were back. When I returned home I popped the box open to find a NEW set of irons!   THANK YOU, Titleist ..... I'm a fanboy for life!!!   You talking about excellent customer service, standing behind your product, and goodwill to your customers makes people take notice.  It will be next week before I get them back on the course but I'll be smiling like a pig in a corn bin!

Awesome news @ole gray that Titleist took responsibility and gave you a new set.

Now, get used to them, practice and improve your LAB putting, and make your personal scoring average below 80.

My inside info tells me the had a special production run for you that wil be pin seeking darts and drop your score by 4-6 strokes  a round.

seriously though that’s great CS by them.   Its among the reasons I play all their stuff.

I'm a huge fan of both Titleist and SteelFiber.  I had the 110's CW in my T100S irons and now looking to put the same in my 150's.  (Which btw are I think a HUGE advancement year on year in their quality and performance over what I was playing!)  Just can't put a better shaft in an iron imho.  Though I haven't done so yet and have been swinging the stock project x shafts that came in these and seem to get them going pretty well.   

But great deal!  You couldn't pass that up, you're right!!   Hit them straight and enjoy!!

Buddy, I had three back to back to back rounds in the 70s (74, 77, 76) with the T350s so if this "new production run" can match or top that I'll be cooking with Crisco!   Note --  I had never had three consecutive rounds in the 70s in my life before the T350s so they must work well for me huh.   They'll be loaded back in the bag for tomorrow morning's round and I'm so looking forward to it!

... I figured I would need to play these T200's awhile to adjust and decide if they will stay in my bag. After 3 rounds they are here to stay. I have gained about 1/2 club and at age 70 the slight distance increase with the same spin and a hair higher trajectory is very welcome. The feel is extraordinary and the thin top line gives me confidence at address.

That's where I think Titleist made their biggest improvements with them. (Same actually happening I feel with stock shots off the 150's if I'm being honest)  The T-200 is pretty close to a cheat stick imo.  And that's a GOOD thing!  But I think the biggest surprise with them was the spin numbers.  I tried them a couple times, my buddy just got them too.  And on a stock PW, 9 or 8 I as actually taken aback when I saw them hit greens and stick and or spin back in some cases.  So definitely a smart choice to keep them in play.  I have a feeling you're gonna love them.  But then again... Who wouldn't love a Titleist product!  (My bias shinging through there! )
