Did you leave it the 5.5 degree difference between the 7I t200 and 8I t150?  If so, could have the loft weakened a touch to bring that gap down.

This was going to be my exact reply. 😁 If it's 20 yards now, a degree weaker on the 7 iron should bring it closer to 15 which would be more appropriate. Might require altering the other T200's to match the gaps, but might also help prevent having to drop $200+ on a club or more.

Checking in on this thread with an update, of sorts. The T200 4 utility has worked its way back into the bag over the past month. It is remarkably easy to hit and has been consistent. The T150 irons are money and I can't see them going anywhere any time soon. That leaves us with the T200 5-7 irons. From a performance standpoint that are great irons. However, from a feel perspective, there is a substantial drop off from the 150's to 200's. So much so, that I am considering going with T150 5-7 to replace them. Nothing emminent and I will likely change my mind a dozen times between now and Christmas, but definitely thinking about it.

What is it about the feel that drops off?  You have improved your handicap quite a bit since putting the new irons in the bag, could it be that your ball striking has improved enough that moving to the T150's makes sense?

I have a similar setup with the Srixons with the 4-6 in one series and 7-PW in the next but the feel has been good.  When I tested the T200's and T150's I did notice that the T200's felt larger and the difference seemed more noticeable than what I ended up with.

I would be describe the difference as the t200 feel powerful and the t150 feel reactive.

Not sure if that makes sense, but I definitely lean towards the t150s overall.

It is time for an update on the Titleist irons:

Surprise, surprise. They are still in the bag. A real shocker , I know 😁

However, lately my miss with these irons had developed into an overdraw bordering on full blown hook. So in weighing my options, I went to see my guy Todd at one of the local golf shops I frequent. I took the irons and a set of recoil 110 F4 shafts with me, in the event it was determined that the KBS Tour shafts I was fit into were the culprit. We discussed doing a re-shafting but ultimately decided to have me hit a couple on the lie board, because Todd had a suspicion that the 2 degrees upright that I was fit into, was no longer serving its intended purpose for my swing.

Those swings in conjunction with the Trackman data confirmed it, so he put the lie angles back to standard on my 4-PW and bent my GW, SW, & LW 1.5 degrees flat.

We agreed to have me play some rounds and range sessions with irons this way, and then decide on the re-shafting. In the long run for the benefit of my joints, I will be going to the recoil shafts, but that is a post for another day.

TL;DR: These irons are still awesome and you all should consider a Titleist fitting and set of the T Series irons. 😁

I am about to do the same with my irons and re-check the lie angles. My swing has changed some since getting the irons and I have a similar suspicion that that may be the answer.

The difference on the trackman after he adjusted them was immediate and very gratifying. It’s worth the nominal fee, in my honest opinion.

That very subject came up today during my discussion with Todd. He agreed that it boils down to player preference. While I hit the T200 well, the “feel” of the club is still a bit muted for my taste. So the current plan is to try and lay hands on a T150 7 head and make the switch when I swap out the KBS shafts for the recoils

I'm still in love with the T350 irons!  My average scores are low 80s and could be mid to high 70s if I wasn't doomed with the chipping yips.  My putting has improved drastically with my LAB broomstick so once I gain confidence back in my short game look out! 💣

I am sure many are hoping, but that would be quite a haul for christmas!

I will admit that I don't usually ask for much or anything at all. I would rather get stuff for the kids and see them with their excitement versus anyone get anything for me.

For those fortunate spies I certainly hope that they are gifted with a full fitting and purchase of these irons as they surely will not be disappointed!

This is kind of what we do for Christmas as well.

We don't do many gifts in our household.  Wife and I rarely exchange gifts and more about quality time with family.  Our kids get plenty from grandparents and we do the 4 gift rule. Want, Need, Wear, and Read.

As we need things throughout the year we typically purchase.

Well, I have an update on the T350 irons and it's about what I would consider a structure issue with the badge on the back of my 7 iron.  I'm not an engineer by trade but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I was on the range warming up and I heard something flying through the air. I looked at my iron and the badge was gone.  I did find it so that's a good thing. I'm in the process of contacting Titleist for a repair.  I could super glue it back on but no way and I'm going to mess with an expensive iron with a cheap repair.  Not to mention it would affect any ongoing warrant.

A few pics of what a T350 looks like on the inside:

BadgeIssue.jpeg.c3d754bc2078be1035e7614dfb5fe061.jpeg

I've heard mine is not the only T350 that this has happened so it's not a random issue.  I have not heard of any such issue with the rest of the series.

BadgeIssue2.jpeg

Wow. That's surprising.  I'm sure it will be replaced and wondering if it was a known issue with a batch of clubs.

That stinks! It looks like it might have been loose for a bit and let moisture inside as I can see the rust on the backside of the face. Pretty disappointing.

I've heard mine is not the only T350 that this has happened so it's not a random issue.  I have not heard of any such issue with the rest of the series.

You’re supposed to use the other side of the club to hit the ball!

Just kidding, but way to take advantage of the situation and show the inner workings of the club…hopefully Titleist will come through for you.

Wow. That's surprising.  I'm sure it will be replaced and wondering if it was a known issue with a batch of clubs.

I've heard of a few instances so hopefully it can be eliminated.  I'm sure Titleist will be right on it!

That stinks! It looks like it might have been loose for a bit and let moisture inside as I can see the rust on the backside of the face. Pretty disappointing.

Yeah, I was surprised to see the rust too.  There was moisture getting in for sure.
