Played 54 holes in a matter of 24 hours....played at 6am yesterday, 48 degrees when I went off.  Played at 430pm, 70 degrees and dry.  42 on the front, and even par on the back, birdied the 12th, par 5 and Eagled the 15th, par 5.  Pitched in from 87 yards out....three hopper into the hole.  saved my round....wish I could have played better on the front.  Played this morning with a pretty mundane 80.  Little warmer 53 degrees with a slight breeze.

Harder day today. I was having a very average round and made three bogeys in a row. Then played the last four holes at three under to get back to even. Rating 67.1 and slope 114.

Due to a family emergency, I had to leave work early. Resolved the emergency and decided to try to get in nine holes. Then the skies opened up. After about 45 minutes of rain, I headed to the course. Had the place to myself. I hit the ball the best I’ve done in probably nine months. Soggy ground affected two of my approach shots such that I think in dry conditions, I could have had a real shot at a 36 or 37. Great feeling.

I have been struggling with ALL of my full swing shots this season.  I took a wider stance dropping my trailing foot by 2 inches and struck gold this morning!  I shot 6 strokes better on the back nine after the adjustment.  I hope the same golfer shows up tomorrow.

Today could have been so good and I could have been called a sandbagger as I probably belong in the top flight as I have been playing not real great this year. 
 

I was -1 going into 18 and piped a drive down the middle. 225 left to the green and wanted a shot at eagle so I grabbed 5 wood and proceeded to pull hook the ball ob. Dropped a ball and thought man now I need to put this on to save par. Nope another pull hook ob. Drop another and just swing hard as I was pissed at myself at hit it to 12 feet. Then 4 putted for a 9er. Ended up +3 on the day.

Since only the best round counts,  I won't post the rest of the scores from the Kingsmill outing.   Those scores were 83 (CH of 10) and 87 (CH of 11) and didn't keep score in the last round.   It was just one of those days and everyone was completely exhausted.

Not the best of rounds but considering it was the first 18 hole round in two weeks because of rain, illness, and injury, I’m happy I was able to finish fairly strong.

I was leading a tournament and something  similar happened on 18. I was 5 under and made triple from the fairway on 18. Still won at 2 under, but it was embarrassing
