Popular Post MrBandit
After my trade-in bonus with TM for my regular Stealth, today the new Stealth 2 arrived. Of course I had to run out and shipped my old one back and took advantage to hit the range with the new stick. First impression at the range, am hitting it much higher than previous version , more consistent center/left area. There were no rights shots at all from a medium bucket of balls. Center or Draw left that was it. I normally cut the ball, there was not cut action. I will need to adjust my game tomorrow to make sure I am more right because it will draw or stay center. Don't expect a cut. From what I can tell it appears to be longer than by original Stealth. One key thing there was a stiff breeze into me today 15-20mph winds steady and it was penetrating that wind for the most part. I would think if there was just regular wind or none the ball would travel more. Range is hard to really get a distance number with range balls that won't travel the same as your gamer. Look forward to put in play tomorrow and see how it performs under normal play Merlin1313, cksurfdude, MattWillGolf and 7 others 10 Quote Driver: TaylorMade Qi10 MAX - 8.5 with Fujikura Speeder NX TCS 50 (Terra Forza White Shaft Testing 2024) 3 -Wood: Sub70 949x 3 Wood 15 with Hrdz RDX Black Stiff 5-Wood: Sub70 949x 5 Wood with Hrdz RDX Black stiff 4-Hybrid: Sub70 949x 4 Hybrid with Project X 5.5 Hybrid Stiff Irons: Mizuno Pro 225 - 6-PW , w/Nippon Modus 105 Stiff Wedges: Sub70 TAIII w/Nippon Modus 105 Stiff - 50 ,56, 60 Putter: L.A.B Mezz1, 34 in Balls: MaxFli Tour X, TaylorMade Tour Response, TaylorMade TPx GPS: Shot Scope X5 with Tracking TESTED: SUB70 949X 5 Wood TESTED: NIPPO N.S. There was a huge break in the weather and I was able to actually give them a go on the range. I was albeit a little chilly but still able to get good testing done. So with the driver I purchased a 14g to replace the 10g in it and turns out that was an awful choice. Couldn’t grasp a feeling of the face at all. With the fairway bought an 8g to replace the 12g, this was an excellent choice. I was able to load the shaft perfectly and find the center of the face way more consistently. I wear a 13 or 14 in extra wide and amazingly the FJ D.N.A. Boa from 2016 fit like a charm in 12 Extra Wide. I have bought and returned various different shoes over the years because none touched those in comfort or fit. Somehow I've worn them for seven years and they've got maybe one season left in them before I'm gonna have to find a replacement. None of the new FJ's in 12 Extra Wide fit the same and anything past 12 is only available in Wide which is too narrow. I got the shoes today in eight and a half which as you know I normally wear a nine and a half with Adidas and nines for the size that I thought were best for me when I tried FootJoy on previously. I measured my foot as per their recommendations and went a little bigger I think with the eight and a half extra wide. It feels like it fits pretty well, almost a little big but I'm not 100% sure if it's just that there's more room in the toe bed that I'm used to. I'm going to hit with them on into my net at home before I wear them out on the course but they seem pretty decent so far except maybe a little stiff. I have to worry because my one foot has a torn ligament in it from a turf toe injury many years ago. That injury gets a little sour if the shoes aren't fitting right.
