I will have to make the drive down from the Lancaster PA area if i get the job I'm on the list for there.

A nice round of golf with it being 40 out and next to no wind. Played a fun course and it was in amazing shape, best it's been all year, greens were soft and super fast which messed me up a few times. Had one of my better rounds in a while though. By the way had to clear that opening in the trees and nicked a branch I didn't see.

Sadly the tree came down in an ice storm about 15 years ago. The course has also changed a bit since Bobby Jones hit that shot. The trees on the right hand side of the fairway have filled out and it is now about a 30 yard cut with a 6 iron to get it to the middle right flag. Back left it is a solid 7 iron. Clubs are also much different than in the 1920's.

We played South Pasadena Yacht and Country Club today. Classic old Florida course built in the 1920's. Walter Hagen was its first head pro!

 

The greens are small, quick and undulating. Pins were tucked. Lots of water, sand and trees that pinched the fairways in.

Took this pic on number 9. The buck acts totally healthy even know it still has an arrow stuck in it. Wow!!!

That arrow was fired from a long way away to only be in that far. Someone took a shot of a lifetime at that one. As a hunter and golfer you have to know the shots you can pull off.

This is an interesting hole that I played today water on both sides. I came to it and I use to think don't go into the water on the right and I use to, now I go up and think aim to the left pond and left it work right. Played in 2 hours in a 20 MPH wind and 38*.

Regardless of where I aimed my ball would be in the water

 

Weather here is turning warmer for the next two days - should be 50. I'm playing on Friday - probably my last day for this year.
