Ha! I was hoping you'd pick up on the cue but didn't wanna look soft by asking you to only run out 3 players. Our gap is very narrow (unlike some of the other matchups) so I'll silently cheer on my replacement players.

The funny thing is, win or lose, my points total this week will probably be my best all season. Maybe these replacements can stay

 

 

 

 

Hunter Mahan. Who would've thunk he'd be where he is. It wasn't even that long ago that he was cleaning up the Dell in dominating fashion. Now he's playing the opposite field event just trying to make it back on tour.

I wonder if it's his mechanical swing that's holding him back? No room for creativity. Although I think I saw somewhere along the line that his putting took a deep dive. Time to switch to an Evnroll or MLA

Before you posted this link, I was expecting you to come in with a comment on Seve. Guess I know you too well by now. That article was a great read so thanks for sharing it.

 

Similar thing happened to me with baseball. I got hooked up with coaches that were "better" but taught more along the lines of pure mechanics. Up until that point, I had a home made delivery that produced a lot of movement. Once I started getting a more "perfect" delivery, the ball straightened out. It looked great in bullpen sessions but also looked great to the hitters that were smashing it around the park.

 

 

Once that creativity is ironed out of the mechanics, it's really difficult to get it back.

I guess I'm a sentimental guy. But I've been watching the old Masters final rounds on YouTube.

 

Watched every video of Seve that I could find. My opinion is no one will ever be close to the short game genius he was.

 

There are a few that are great, but he wrote the book for them to follow.

Dang it man. Why do my players have to be so thin skinned. I say one thing about them and they slide backwards. 2nd, maybe 3rd time this season this has happened.

 

Why can't they just play good on the weekends

It totally discourages smack talk.....which is one of the best things about fantasy sports!

I feel your pain; 2nd in points, 8th in the standings. 4th in points scored AGAINST, and that's after CG2 forgot we were playing last week & scored ZERO against me!

I knew I'd have a rough start to the season with who I picked, but getting unlucky as well also hurts. 

My team was never set up to excel during the pre Major season.

 

I guess you can say we are due Blue!

That seems impossible considering I drafted Lucas and have had him rostered since draft day. Of course, I'm not starting him this week, so boo on me and yay for Shanks.
