A week before the Masters. Not usually an event I pay attention to, but might this year, Rickie being in the field. And a last chance for Ernie to win his way into the The Masters.

 

Obviously a lot of Texas pride when I looked through the field.

 

But for this week I’m going with an usual pick.

 

Sepp Straka please stand up.

Excited to watch this one! After playing there this past year, it’s always fun to see the course on the tv. I guarantee nobody will play the course this week like I played it when I was there! Haha

Pretty meh field this week. Got Rick, Tony, Kuch, the shell of Spieth, and then......a glorified Web event? Really want to root for Niemann to find his game here but don't think he can get past the big names with how bad his putting is. From the top I like Rickie from lower down I'm on Niemann.

I think it’s all a ploy. The young man is just playing us all. Look at last years Masters. Final round he was ... only a matter of time before he kicks that old Scotty to the curb and picks up something like his JT buddy and everyone will be saying

Hard to believe he fell down the world rankings so far over the past few years, side note.... how does Rickie stay in the top 10? I know he has some wins, but I feel like he misses cuts a lot, and has more T40 finishes.

Could be wrong, I didn’t look up any stats. Just going off feel.

Agreed, McDowell was a longtime standard major pool pick for me. Golf is really hard.

Rickie actually makes a lot of cuts 8/8 this year (17/20 - 2018). He is also a pretty steady top 25 fiinisher. I really like him but he probably wouldn't quite make my personal top 10. Official stat ranking sample is sorta weird, imo.

Pretty decent day of golf out there for these fellas.

It appears Jordan found some sort of rhythm, Rickie is plugging along, and how bout J.T. Poston & Ancer up at the top?

I like when the field isn’t load with big names that hog all the attention sometimes.

It looks like a tight field, tomorrow's weather is going to make or break these men.  I sure would like to see a Ricky Fowler, Jordan Spieth, Jimmy Walker playoff.  Watching closely....
