I hope everyone is having a great week!  I wanted to share some work in progress photo's of a Custom MACHINE that Dave is working on.

 

This MACHINE features a Custom 303 Stainless M4 Meritage Head with a Black Delrin Spacer, a 303 Stainless Modular Center Shaft Hosel and the Megalodon Prototype #1 Milled from 1018 Carbon.

 

The Medallion on this MACHINE is a Black Anodized Alloy Logo Medallion.

 

With the Flange being milled from 1018 Carbon, it can be Nickel Plated, Copper Plated or finished in our Hot Salts Gun Metal Blue Finish.

This MACHINE features a Custom 1018 Carbon M10 Adjuster Head with a 1018 Carbon Half Offset Plumber Neck Hosel.  The Head and Hosel have both been finished in our Hot Salts Gun Metal Blue Finish.

 

The Medallion on this MACHINE is a Black Anodized Alloy Logo Medallion.

This MACHINE features a Custom Billet Copper M2A Converter Head with a Billet Copper Blade Back Flange and a Copper Modular Center Shaft Hosel.  The Head, Hosel and Flange have all been finished in Dave's Aged and Pre-Worn Antique Patina Finish.

 

This MACHINE also features a Custom Arch Balanced Heel Closer Weight.

 

The Face Milling on this MACHINE is our Thread Milled Groove Face Milling.

Hey Everyone,

The new Megalodon XL prototypes just came off the mill, and we're finalizing all the details for the first limited edition production run starting next week.  

The first photo shows the original Megalodon XXL on the left fit here with a Modular Center Shaft neck, and the new Megalodon XL on the right fit with a fully skeletonized half offset long plumber neck, which is shown in different views in the rest of the photos.

Both the XXL and XL are excellent in Counter Balanced setups (standard length and longer lengths).  

When paired with a M4 Meritage head and double bend shaft over stud, the XL weighs in at 355 grams prior to the addition of any adjustable weights.  

As shown with the fully skeletonized half offset long plumber neck and Black Delrin Spacer it is 380 grams, a great starting with with a counter balanced shaft and grip.  You can add up to 40 grams with these, in 1, 3, 7 or 10 gram increments in four weight ports.

The ease of alignment, accuracy, feel and forgiveness are really awesome with these.  So much so that XL Proto #1 is now in my bag!

This MACHINE also features a Custom Milled Billet Copper weight port sleeve.

The Hosel is a Shaft over Stub hosel for a Double Bend Shaft.

 

This MACHINE weighs 360 Grams as shown, and we can increase the weight another 40 grams by using tungsten weights.

On this MACHINE, we ended up trimming the inside of the head down to get to the Customers desired head weight of 310 Grams.

The Flange features Custom Milled Sightlines parallel to the Spacer.  The sightlines will be given a silver paintfill to match the spacer.

The Medallion on this MACHINE is a Custom Titanium Damascus Logo Medallion.

Yep.  Should be around June or July when I retire. Just waiting on the VA now.  Moving Anna back next week to start looking for teaching jobs.   Looking at probably living in Ellijay or Blue Ridge.  Depends on where Anna can find a teaching job.

This MACHINE features a Custom 303 Stainless M2A Converter Head with a 303 Stainless Deep Bite Bongo Back Flange with .5 Inch Radaii.  The Bumpers were further melted and the Head was also shaved to meet this customer's target head weight.

 

This MACHINE also features Custom Triple Sightlines and a Red Anodized Alloy Logo Medallion

 

Next up for this MACHINE is for Dave to apply a Custom Antique Charcoal Torch Finish.

No joke, both the city and county schools in my little town were hiring, and I'm sure still are. We're about half way between Chattanooga and Atlanta. And the housing market around here is pretty cheap for metro Atlanta. Plus with the huge sporting complex they're building there's an influx of jobs around right now (and a Greg Norman Academy coming in with that complex).

 

Anyway, the newest putter is a beaut. What's head weight with that flange?
