Swing practice on your knees?

I saw this article yesterday. It seems to make sense. Has anyone tried swinging a club on their knees on the range or at home?  https://golf.com/instruction/driving/practice-swinging-on-knees/

With 2 knee replacements, it's extremely uncomfortable for me to kneel....so, no.

He could be doing the standing alternative and not the kneeling swings

Weird drill.  It is useful for someone who is too steep or shallow.

Also useful for someone is too deliberate with the lower body. You get reading too much and start trying to use the ground and jump and dip and turn the hips and slide to the target and all this stuff. Get on your knees, and the ball goes dead straight and still pretty dang far. Most people are impressed how far they can hit from their knees. Obviously the lower body can add power, but some overdo it.

The kneeling settings with SuperSpeed are awkward to begin with, but become easier over time and its surprising the speed you can reach doing it. 

It's funny you bring this subject up, the other night I was watching one of my favorite golf YouTuber's for pure entertainment and saw this video.
