Whitey Ford passed away the other day and it kinda saddens me a little bit.

I’m 3rd generation Red Sox Fan and it’s in my genes. BUT when I was a kid when we (Dad & me) went to games Whitey even though a member of the hated Yankee Empire was a favorite of ours. He was flat out great.

We lost 2 greats recently Whitey and Bob Gibson. I never saw Gibson pitch in person except on TV but he was a great!
