I'm alive and well. After the Teeless Driver test and my trip to Pinehurst it took a while to get back home. Then I had to travel with my agent to a book company that wants to discuss a book deal. I'm thinking about it, but in the mean time I am composing some posts. I do like to have at least 6 or so completed before I post one. 

I'm close to firing up the grill. Stay tuned.

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night.  I think that should cover when you are reading this.

I took some time to reflect after the Pinehurst trip. The bruises have healed, and my memory is starting to come back after a mild concussion. Arguments with a tree never end well by the way. I would like to say I have dried out but that’s not the case. I have been relaxing on a well - deserved vacation.

Back to Pinehurst, it was nice to see old friends from the Maryland outing and meet some new ones. I rolled in a little late on Friday and I heard there was some good food. However, it must have been good as there was none left when I got there. I don’t eat much. You would think someone would save me a little. Nope all I got was some pretzels and some moonshine mix thing. Good but deadly by the way. Especially for a little guy.    

I will say that the golf has not improved much for the group though. It was a whirlwind of adventures. The swimming, hiking in the woods, tree climbing, and actually a few carpet burns from landing on the green. Definitely the full experience as usual. I mean really, what was I expecting, everyone to improve in a year!  I was just wondering; how can someone shoot mid 70’s and then the very next round in the same day be in the upper 90’s. You know who you are! I don’t want to embarrass you here by calling you out JEFF.

I did a little condo hopping during the night and holy cannoli. James (Bryan’s dad) can snore with the best of them. I should have brought my earmuffs. I rolled out of there like a stinger 1 iron. I found the driving range out back to be a better sleeping spot. At least I was among friends there. 

Jim was there, you know @McGolf.  Stories to tell but my big disappointment was he didn’t even interview me for his video. I watched his you tube video where he talked about the trip and that’s where I saw it! Some bone heads used a head cover to impersonate me. @Tom the Golf Nut choking me and blaming me for his poor first round, @Jwc5149 mocking Chuck over his shoulder. All fun and games but no one got my comments on film. Probably because they left me at the condo, and I had to roll a couple miles down the road to get there.  So, I had a little too much to drink on Saturday night. It didn’t mean you had to leave me behind. I tried to sign up for the Marines, but I couldn’t pass the physical. Tough with no arms and no legs. But I still practice the “Never leave a buddy behind”. I rolled thousands of miles to get there, and this was how I was treated.

My vacation is over and now I’m trying to get back in shape to lose that last unwanted ounce. I’m hitting the gym and also took up boxing. A friend of mine gave me a custom fit robe many years ago and I’m finally getting to put it to use. I’m not mentioning any names, but he was famous back in the day. Sorry, this photo was with my game face on. Trying to intimidate the competition. I did get some bionic arms to strap on. Otherwise, boxing would have meant I was just a punching bag. I get enough of getting hit in the face by golf clubs.

haha well... I thoroughly enjoyed that trip and seeing everyone .. and yeah avoided the moonshine .. and can also say that my golf game has improved since then (at least a little teensy bit I think I hope)!

Oh no @Yellow Ball that wasn't Agent Orange was it?  That guy's just bad news, did in a whole lotta guys a while back.  And a "book deal" should not involve a Golf Course, Country Club or anywhere else that wants you to pay for them to book you for a particular time.

But we have all seen beautiful  "Profile Pictures" then showed up with flowers and expensive chocolates to see someone shall we say "slightly heavier" with a completely different face? Congratulations on your first post Miss Tee Backnine!  I will say you are starting out a step above me when I joined as I did not know anyone on the Forum and no doubt you are going to find many like minded golf obsessed souls here.  I too was at the Pinehurst meetup and I will extend my regrets for not being able to make your acquaintance.  Hope to see many more of your posts, welcome in!
