Working on my review for MGS and should have time this weekend to finish up I hope. 

Playing Gearhart Links today with my wife, her brother and his girlfriend.  while on the range the other day I messing around with the weights in the Grover head. I may have found a good combination. We shall see.

Good morning gang! Looks like rain this weekend here might keep me off the course… I’m looking to watch some golf content on YouTube while I work on some side projects. Any suggestions? I recently rewatched the 2019 Masters and frequent the Good Good Golf channel. What am I missing? Have a great day!

Played the first round of the year and now home to shower up and attack the back half of the day... the round was full of mistakes and an awful day off the tee, basically topping everything, but enough good to inspire some hope.

Good Morning,

A fine one it was. Woke up at 4:00 am and couldn’t fall back asleep. So at 6:45 headed over to the golf course. No carts are allowed out until 8:00. But I’m a walker anyway and teed off a 7:00. I made my first eagle of the season today. Hole 8 always been a pain until today. The rest of the round consisted of one birdie two bogeys. For a sweet 71. 
 

Now off to find a Mother's Day gift after another shower.

Leon's brother did the field trial work. When Quail season came in usually the Friday after Thanksgiving they were in the woods and fields hunting every day except Sunday.  Sunday hunting was against the law in NC at the time. Hunting season usually ended February 15th. When they old Kemper Open came to Charlotte Tom Weiskopf came by looked at and bought 2 dogs from them. He said he would be back in 2 weeks. He and some guy showed up at our place in a 2 year old Cadillac and loaded the dogs in the back seat with Tom stating a good dog needs to have a good car to ride in.

Good morning, fine folks! It is a hot one here today in Missouri, or should I say Misery. Practiced a little on the BirdieBall this morning, while my son made a good ball return. That is until he hopped in the wagon and demanded to go for a ride  

About to head out for a wedding now, I pray it doesn’t rain because the humidity is going to be no bueno!

You have had some interesting days in your life!  
I mostly had English Setters for Field Trials throughout New England.  Had decent success in Gun Dog Competitions.  Didn’t raise many letters but had a couple Stud Dogs that were popular with the ladies and sired decent hunting dogs.  The German Shorthairs I had were mostly for Partridge & Woodcock hunting.  
Had to give that up when life got in the way with family & kids.  I kept Fly Fishing forever.  Tied flies for decades until eyesight started declining.

Good afternoon folks. Not even going to attempt to justify 3pm as morning. I was awake earlier, but only to get an ice pack from the freezer.

So, I played 6 full rounds and 3x 9 holes since May started. That's 135 holes of golf, about half walking. My ever-tenuous back muscles have felt great.

Up to 2 days ago, showering before my round, shampooing my hair I felt a pop. My back has been uncomfortable since. Not necessarily painful, just discomfort. Going to take the day off from golf activities. 

So yes, for those keeping score I am on the injured list with a grooming injury.

Good morning MGSpies on a bright sunny WNY Sunday in Rochester NY. No coffee yet but it won't be long  a Happy Mothers Day to everyone especially moms reading this and two who are on my PGA HOPE Secretary's Cup Team, we are playing an 18 hole practice round today at Penfield CC if that isn't going to make it a day to remember like none before. Hope golf is part of your day

Good morning everyone and Happy Mothers day to the women out there or the women in your life. I lost my mom back in 2017 but can see the influence she left on me to this day. 

It's a beautiful day here in TN, I'm enjoying my coffee and have the dogs by my side. I had a good day yesterday with my wife while searching for the elusive pink princess houseplant. She finally ordered one off Etsy, she was able to get two other plants and it for the same price. 

We have grocery shopping to do today and I'm going to hit the range at some point.

Thank you Chuck!!  It certainly will be… well, as much fun as a 76 year old can have anyway!    It was always fun when I shared my birthday with Mother’s Day.  She passed away in 2019.

Up at 4:20am today final packing for our trip.  Gee, I wonder what I will forget this time!  My philosophy is if I forget something, I can probably do without it, or I can buy it when I get where I’m going.  Well, that didn’t work on our last trip to Phoenix!  I forgot the power cord to my Garmin S62 GPS watch!!!  I was OK for the first 4 rounds, but it was an 11 round trip!!  You can’t buy a power cord!

Not making coffee this morning; will stop at a barista on the way out of town.  Headed to central Oregon about 250 miles away (Bend. Redmond, Sisters area). Love that area but it sure has grown over the years with Californians.  Staying in a condo at Eagle Crest Resort and playing this afternoon after brunch.

You can buy adaptors that fit a Garmin port onto a standard USB-C cord. I keep one in my bag. They're cheap!

GM, Happy Sunday & Mothers Day.  Low Key day today.  FT time with daughters & Gkids later since all Gkids are home from college as of yesterday. Crab leg boil this afternoon because that’s what SWMBO wants today!

Good morning spies!

Wishing a happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there. I celebrated the amazing mom I am married to yesterday. She chose the day and the way to celebrate. She went on a group bike training ride in the morning and I walked the dog. She is training for an Aquabike (open water swim and bike) race next month. I took her to lunch at her favorite local eatery and stopped at her favorite bakery for dessert. We went shopping for flowers for the garden with the money our son sent her for Mother’s Day. She loves tending to the garden. On the way home we had a beer at our local brewery.

Good morning and happy mothers' day... I have a quick golf story about my mother, both my mother and father were golfers, I didn't get to play with my dad with his buddies much but if my mom was short a player and i was available I would play with her, the best part about playing golf with my mom was, her friend would bring out peppermints on the 7th. tee box... I could hardly wait... funny things you remember as a kid eh? Have a great day everyone...

Good morning, Happy Sunday and Mother's Day! I hope all of the moms of the world have a great day today! Today unfortunately looks like a day full of thunderstorms, so no golf for me to be played. We have had a lot of rainy and stormy days this past week, so I am hoping that the upcoming week allows for more opportunities to get out and play. I have league on Tuesday, so I definitely need to get out and play before then. I haven't played an actual round of golf in over a week, so I need to kick the rust off and get ready. Hopefully, the day clears up and I can get out and practice. Have a great day to all!
