To start on this Happy Community Call Day, Thursday…… Sending good thoughts to those with little ones that are ill. Hope they are all recovering both fast and well. Selfishly, the little ones, especially infants and newborns are the closest to being, like minded as us elderly cognitively declining curmudgeons and therefore our best allies. Secondly, @sirchunksalot sorry for your family’s woes, hoping everything works out for your best. 
    Headed back to the work location in a tad of a hurry, another dang soap opera event has happened. Will again miss the live community call. Hope to be able to check out any replay later.

I'm excited today about the community call. Hopefully I can break away and get on. 

I also saw this really interesting little data nugget from Lou Stagner and Arccos Golf to wrap your brain around today. It's really about having the right perspective about the expectations we golfers place on ourselves during a round. Hope this helps the next time you go out and play!

Good morning MGS! I've been at early this morning with a couple early meetings. Currently at the orthodontist in the waiting room. The youngest is getting his braces removed this morning so the level of excitement is higher than normal for 8am. Haha. He was bummed last month when they said his teeth needed some more time with the metals...

Good morning, golfers!  I am not sure what is going on with the weather, but I am not complaining.  The weatherman said high of 58° today and 57° tomorrow, which is perfect winter golf weather here in MO.

Several attendees never turn on their mic or camera so you can also log into the call and  listen.  Put some earphones in and no one will know you aren’t doing what you are supposed to be doing.

Good morning everyone and happy community call day. It’s my Friday today since I have to take the day off tomorrow to take my son to his next wheelchair basketball tournament in Madison. We’ve hit the home stretch at school and I think I’ll survive the last five days before break. Especially since there is a glimmer of hope of outdoor golf next Friday! Hope everyone has a great day ahead!

Good morning all!

Got a haircut last evening which is always nice to get it refreshed. Had to run some errand otherwise, picking up Christmas letters from being printed, getting stamps, some other gifts and a quick Walmart stop. Kids got out for a play date with some friends which is always a good time.

Also some excitement as out septic seemed to be collapsing due to too much weight (its a plastic one) so we got the land leveled and come to find out it was thankfully just a dent due to a rock falling right near the opening during backfilling it. Good news things are not broken and we still leveled it and that helps it feel more like the yard and should help keep everything running well.

Greetings from slightly snow Central New York. First cuppa is nearly finished. Not a lot going on today. My wife and I will go out to lunch at our favorite pizza place then run some errands. Saw the latest offering from Costco. The driver looks interesting especially at that price point. Was kind of hoping for “Turbulators”.

Golf is about attitude including positive thinking.  Not included in the numbers but based on those numbers, chances of making par are:

5 index: 62% or twice as likely of making par than bogey or worse

10 index: 53% chance of making par

15 index: 38%.      “

Now add the birdie percentage to get the chances of par or birdie: 70%, 59%, 43%.

Good morning all and happy Thursday. Our house is in full sick mode, which really stinks as our oldest has the school Christmas program tonight and he is going to most likely have to miss it. He is really disappointed because he loves to sing and they have been working for months now on memorizing songs for the program. I feel really bad about it because the illness stuff started off with me last week, then our youngest got it, and now my wife and oldest both have it. Winter sucks. Our oldest has also had issues where colds turn significantly worse and he ends up with pneumonia. We've had to take him to urgent care multiple times in the past for nebulizer treatments, inhalers, etc., because his pulse oxygen drops below an acceptable level. Fingers crossed that doesn't happen this time around.

We also have tickets for the Packers game this Sunday with some friends, but there's a chance either one or both of us will not be going if he doesn't show some improvement by Saturday. Too scary of a thought to think about leaving him for a night with my parents with how things have gone in the past like I mentioned. Hopefully he will be feeling better by then, though.

@sirchunksalot, I am sorry to hear about the issue with your storage unit. It takes some real low life people to break into others' property. I hope that nothing too valuable was lost. Sounds like you and your wife have had way too much on your plate recently. Keeping you guys in my thoughts that everything goes as well as possible.

Good morning Spies and happy Pre-Friday. Another beautiful sunny morning, albeit chilly at 30*.

It's Friday for me as I'm taking tomorrow off as a comp day for a long weekend of work two weeks ago. Sad thing is that I'll be spending a good portion of the day dealing with vehicle registration and driver's license acquisition. What really sucks about that is that those are in two completely different locations. They're not that far apart and Crossville is a small city/town, so I'm hoping it won't be too bad. I do have an actual appointment for the DL, so that shouldn't be too horrible. I just hope they don't make me take the written test again. It's only been 33 years since I took it originally.

Good morning spies!

Excited for the community call this week. Always a great opportunity to catch-up and appreciate the great group of people on this platform. Have a work holiday party tonight that should be pretty fun. I work fully remote, so haven't met the large majority of my co-workers in person. Hoping to enjoy myself but still be functional tomorrow morning.

Fairly slow day at work, so definitely will be honing the golf swing in the home office between menial tasks. I feel like I'm going stir-crazy without getting a chance to hit some balls this week. 

@sirchunksalot terribly sorry to hear about the storage unit. The important thing is that everyone is safe and hopefully nothing too valuable was taken.

Morning/Afternoon ya'll!

So I woke up feeling a little better than yesterday so that's progress! I am still coughing and stuffed up but the pressure is lighter in my head and ears and my energy seems a bit higher too. I know several other spies & their families are battling some sickness so my prayers and thoughts go out to ya'll to get better soon. Healing vibes

With temps reaching up to 50's with some sun today and next few days I am going to get the net up and hit some balls. Woot!

One of the first things I saw on my morning trip around MGS was the Kirkland Sig Driver release....oh my. It feels like the beanie baby crazy back in the day where people were just chomping at the bit to get their hands on one. I would love to get a new driver some day....just biding my time but man this one looks like a winner. Waiting for the reviews.

Good Thursday Morning Spies! 

It was 65 degrees at 6:50am tee time. Walked 18 holes. Weather was cloudy, but calm, very little wind.  By the 16th hole the wind picked up nicely, 10-12mph, by 18th hole the wind had to be 15-20mph, thankfully 18th hole is downwind. 

Sorry to hear about the breakin at you storage unit @sirchunksalot!  It would be good if authorities could catch the scumbags! 

That's too bad about your son missing the Christmas program@Jnoble89.  This strain of flu seems to be nasty! Best wishes for a speedy recovery! 

Happy 90th Birthday to your mom @Gary DeMarchi!  What a milestone birthday, Awesome! 

Sitting in a warm house, drinking my first cup of Espresso Coffee since getting home.  Congrats on reaching 2k @EasyPutter!! That's fantastic!

I am not speaking in behalf of all your south Texas neighbors, just myself. I have decided to be significantly more sensitive in my old age, as such, I am requesting that you do what you can do in keeping the colder weather from coming South. Maybe divert it to New Mexico, they seem to be a hearty bunch. 
  It is always interesting to read the view points of other Texans. Especially those 8-9 hours away in the Amarillo area. TIA for any help with the weather thingee..

Good morning and happy Friday everyone!

I'm feeling pretty good this morning as it's an actual Friday for me this morning. We worked out last Saturday of the year last week and I get two days off for the first time in three weeks. I'm planning on getting out to the course tomorrow and putting the Connex through it's paces. 

@crb128, welcome to the forum! You'll find a lot of wonderful people here and loads of great content.

@Shankster, it's great to see you back on here. I hope things are well with you and your family.
