Anyway... Good morning everyone!  The good news is that the wind is down today so I will get out to walk 9 holes... maybe 18.  Spent yesterday in my hitting bay working on extending in the backswing; I'll see how that works on the course.

That's a great question, Kenny! But I'm not going to complain 

....sadly, we are going to jump back down to lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s next week with a lot of rain in the forecast

made that mistake last year.  I can totally squeeze this 3w through the trees.  THUNK.. 90* turn… it then launches itself over the fairway and into a creek.  Shoulda just pushed it out haha.

Ah yes the dreaded no balance, double ball approach to the tee box. Definitely a different level of concentration needed for that one....

Are those a higher swing speed ball or do they have their "Pro V-1/X" versions also?

It’s a soft ball.  Very similar in profile to the Bridgestone tour B RXS / RX

im probably topping out at maybe 100 on driver swing speed (usually end up with drives in the 235-265yd range).

Appreciate that! Interesting, heard good things from others as well...I'm currently trying out the Titleist AVX balls right now and I seem to hit those really straight and longer- compared to Kirkland Premium, Vice Pro, and Bridgestone E6 balls tested this past couple months. Wish they were the price of those Kirkland's though

I am wearing about 6 layers.  I absolutely despise cold weather any more.  5 years in Da UP makes me want to live somewhere on the Equator.  
 

Hopefully my next duty station is in Hawaii, it was perfect weather.

I've been wearing 5-6 layers all winter, including last weekend.  Don't get old... it gets worse the older you get... probably why they invented "snowbirds".

Oh man.  I lived right “in the middle with you” on that one.  Northern Michigan booms in the summer with the “Fudgies” as we called them, only come up for the Kilwins Chocolate.  Otherwise known as snowbirds.

Good morning (afternoon)! Really busy work week this week as it’s a new quarter and we’re in review. Not great timing as it’s a record 75-80 the next 3 days in CNY. The golf course is calling my name. Hoping to get more forum activity in later this week and also going to post a new thread for the upcoming PGA championship to see if any fellow MGS members are going!

I have a 5 gallon bucket of golf balls. My father-in-law gave to us. I don’t know how many years ago that I haven’t even touched yet. He was a member at a country club and we go out into the woods on his walk to his ball in the middle of the fairway and pick up balls along the way. I’m not sure I would have the patience to go through a whole 5 gallon bucket of golf balls.

My regular gamer ball was/is the Tour B RXS (in yellow of course).  I noticed no real change in distance (within the margin of error of my crap swing).  I didnt really get a chance to get a feel for how they behaved vs each other with things like wedge spin on the course as that day I was just absolutely fighting a case of the BLADEYS.. couldnt hit a wedge to save my life.

The league round I played yesterday I hit my first drive so god damn well with the Srixon I didnt bother even looking at the Bridgestone.

Maybe Ill play the next league round with a bridgestone and see if i can notice any difference.

Shot a personal best with the Tour B RXS though last year, but if the srixon comes anywhere close ill be switching once I run out of Bridgestones.

50.00 for a dozen balls is just... pants on head levels of stupid.

Holy Gotham Batman! I just got in from playing 18 and opened up my laptop to find I'm 6 pages behind just on this thread!! All of the regulars know what a great site this is, but never have I seen the kind of activity we've had in the past month. To all the newbies; stick around you'll find this site exceeds your expectations.

We got back from SWMBO Doc.  Not as bad as she feared but will have surgery that should be outpatient or 1 overnight.
