Good morning, Spies and happy Second Monday!!!

It's a beautiful morning here in East Central TN. Lots of sunshine and clear skies. At least that's how it looks from my office window.  Rain looks to be on it's way this weekend, but we'll see as the week goes along. What looks like rain on Tuesday doesn't always pan out come the weekend, so we'll see.

Haven't played golf in about 9 days and haven't really swung a club that long either. Not sure I could get much more stiff right now if I tried. I really need to find a good stretching routine to help keep myself a bit more limber even when not playing. Any ideas?

Well, actually have some work stuff going on this week, so keeping it short this morning. Have an awesome day all!!

Good morning all--shorter work week this week. Was able to play 18 on Sunday and hoping to play 9 this evening if its not too hot. I got spoiled on the cool front last week, now back to hovering around mid 90s . Taking a half day on Thursday to make it down to the beach before UNC football kickoff and got a tee time scheduled at The Surf Club Sunday in NMB with late night rounds at PBeach on the Full Swing once the kiddo goes down. Good morning, everyone!

Exciting morning for me as the Skytrak+ test was announced. I'm super excited to take part in this test and hopefully I can provide a fun and informative read for everyone!

Outside of containing my excitement at work from the test announcement it's a pretty standard day for me. I'm through most of my tasks already and have the week set up to be fairly level set barring any implosions.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday! And be sure to follow along with me and @TSauer for the Skytrak+!

Good morning! Like @rkj427 & @BLD7 said, it's going to be a HOT one in Michigan today. I'm not totally upset that I have a conference that will be in the A/C all day, but I am bummed because it means I won't be able to get out and golf today like I was hoping.

Tonight, I'm taking the kids to their gymnastics stuff and running some errands (lots of Amazon returns ). @Dan1247 asked me about my Sub70 659CB irons and it's lit a little fire to try to finish my unofficial review of those irons, so I might work on that a little during the gymnastics.

Good morning, spies.Just another day out on golf course duty. Already have had some issues with sprinklers And had some issues with players, it never ends. But I was able to catch these glorious pictures as the sun came up.

Supposed to be almost 100 and humid in NE Ohio today, so not great golf weather. I bit the bullet and ordered new irons this morning. Thanks to @jbern answering my question and a few coworkers for the peer pressure. At least I didn't have a full thread dedicated to pressuring me to buy new irons like @GolfSpy_KFT!

Ya think maybe you could arrange for it to cool off there in a couple days? I'll be passing through. Then back. My little company is based in Barberton. Often stop for maintenance, etc. Early morning boss will say: It's muggy already. Here in the Black Hills, it will be a high of 75.

Good morning spies! About a month ago my driver lost its "pink" sound off the tee. I thought it was my swing and never ending shoulder issue. But then last week I just wasn't getting any real distance. So Sunday after playing I set up a bright light and took a straight edge to the club face. I am the proud owner Taylormade Sim 2 driver with a 1.5" X 2" flat spot running slightly toward the toe. . I have a fitting set up for next Thursday at Club Champions to see if I can find a replacement or if I just order another Sim 2 from Amazon...

@Shrek74 Try the Sunrise vinyasa. Yeah I know it is yoga, but your hair feels stretched by the time you are done with this 15 minute stretching routine.

Congrats to you both!! Looking forward to seeing how it performs and the features the Skytrak+ has that can differentiate it from competitors. My brother-in-law and I pass a Fullswing Kit back and forth every couple of months for range use and making makeshift simulators when traveling, and the accuracy of these launch monitors make the game so much more fun including the numbers/data feedback. Enjoy!

God morning Happy Tuesday! 
We had a 7:02 am Tee Time this morning on a long Exec.  Lost 2 balls which is a lot for me but when you have water on 6 holes I’m tempting fate.  
Anyway we had a great time as always with breakfast after.  
Going to spend rest of day messing around the house and keep busy until the thunderstorms start later.

We’ve been in FL almost 13 years and gators should be the state mascot.  Seen more than one bird, turtle etc grabbed by a gator and disappear into the water.

Good Tuesday morning all!

Should be a somewhat pleasant day as we should only reach mid 90's, however, the humidity is going to be high... GC duties this afternoon will mainly be focused on repairing the par 3 tee boxes (filling divots) after this morning's tournament. I really have a hard time understanding why it is people can't be bothered to fill their divots as its not like there isn't a bucket of sand sitting right there to use... Oh well, I'll get off the soap box.

Great picture @Byrnzee it is a beautiful place, and I hope you make some lasting memories!

Hope all goes well with your fur baby and computer recovery @sirchunksalot.

Stay safe and hopefully it will calm down quickly now @Northern Monkey.

Good morning, everyone!

Taking the day off from the course today for two reasons: (1) even with an 8:57 tee time I would be absolute puddle by the 9th hole given the actual (and indexed) heat plus the humidity from last night’s rain and today’s lingering storm threat; and, perhaps more importantly (2) my knees are killing me! — 60 years of knees that lock up and just ache, and last night sleeping on my side with one knee directly on top of the other.  Sheesh.

Play has been all over the map lately.  Shoot 84 for 18 holes and lose 5 skins in a three way match; shoot 50(!) for 9 holes against the same two and win 6 skins.  Crazy, crazy game this golf.

Struggle with pulling irons (and putter) continue.  Ball position?  Outside in?  Death grip with putter?  I don’t know.  I will gladly give up th extra yards to get my old reliable fade back.

Hope all y’all that are playing today stay safe and properly hydrated!

P.S.  I really like the new 360° stripe on TP5.  Too expensive for me but really looking forward to gettIng my hands on a foundling.

You notice on the freeways. There will be spots where there is high fencing coming up to the freeway, then work back down. Rationalize there is a large drain pipe going under the freeway. I figured it out! Those are alligator crossings!

So you know the craziness of northern Ohio weather? Forecast says it'll drop down to mid/low 80s the next two days, back up to 90 Friday, upper 70s Saturday, 80 Sunday, and then mid 60s Monday.

I went with the 659 CB Satin 4-PW KBS Tour Lite Stiff shaft with the green/white ferrule for some personalization. 20% off really sealed the deal. Only thing I'm not 100% on is the standard grip. I'm right on the edge of standard and midsize, so I'll probably regrip one or two of the old irons and see how they feel. If I need to regrip the new irons I'll still have saved some money.

Top of the pot spies .  Cooler morning temps here in the valley of the sun are feeling great.  We just need a few more good monsoon storms to catch up on water. 

We placed 5th in our flight of 28 two man best ball teams at the AGA Senior Tournament at Phoenix CC yesterday.  We "ham & egged it" about as well as we could have, coming in at -5 (winning team was -9).  Having only walked the course last October while attending the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, and thinking "this doesn't look that tough", gave a false sense of reality.  Playing any course for the first time is tough simply because we don't know where the worst trouble lurks.  The course definitely plays tougher than it looks and the "parkland style" tree lines really penalize.  Even shots on the edges of the fairway, but on the wrong side brought tree lines into consideration.  Oh, and the traps... they were everywhere! 

Phoenix CC is 125 years old!

The two guys we played with were just a blast to be with and we ended up having lunch together afterwards.  The AGA does a great job putting these together and we'll probably try our luck at a couple more next summer.  My only knock is that they only pay 1st place in each flight.  I'd prefer they payout through 3rd place... or 5th place in this case .

While I haven’t yet caved and ordered the P790s , I did just order two SM10 wedges

I sure do. That Lake Effect snow will bury you in an hour. But I do notice. It's usually a little nicer temp there than surrounding area because of Lake Erie.

I'd have them change it to midsize now on the order. Don't think you'll be unhappy.

Morning everyone,

Im just sitting in my doctors office wasting precious moments of my life away waiting patiently for my turn to see the doctor. 
Insurance requires me to have a physical once a year or they raise my rates by $40 bucks a week. 
I had my bloodwork done and everything was perfect. I get so see it on line. So now I wait for someone to tell me I’m fine so they can charge me more.

Don’t they realize it is a perfect weather day for golf.

I’m at the one hour waiting mark now.  What good are appointments.

Well 12:15 the doc came in and said I’m healthy. 12:22 and I’m out the door.

Well, it is still morning, and I just got back home from doing a tv promotion event here for our car show on Saturday.

Too bad we had some thunderstorms roll through this morning, but it still went off without a hitch.

Our club actually had 2 tv promotions at different stations at the same time, and I will post a link to a couple pictures and videos from both of them in the "Random Thread" topic.

Quit raining now, so I guess I will spend the afternoon cleaning up my car again.

I ordered a 3 wedges this weekend to try to ease the want to buy new irons. We see how that worked out

Yeah, winter is usually a little warmer and summer a little cooler closer to the lake. My in-laws live much closer to the lake than my southeast suburb and there can be a 5+ degree difference between our houses on most days.

Not a bad idea on those grips. Time to test that great customer service I've heard so much about.
