Dude, that sole grind is absolutely awesome. Cannot wait to see how they perform for you. Really curious to hear if you think it'll do what the claim says with extra forgiveness while I would assume allowing for a more workable club.

I almost feel a little bad sharing these since most are still waiting on shipping.... but I just have to share these!

I got a nice delivery yesterday and after bringing the box inside I had to run to baseball and then had some work to do last night so I haven't gotten too much time to drool...

But calling these beautiful irons would be a gross understatement.  The full set is even better than I was expecting and everything about the packaging told me this is a premium product.

It seems to all make sense.  Higher bounce leading edge to help with that initial contact (which I will certainly put to the test as someone who can get steep on a miss) and then the trail edge is supposed to help get back out of the ground faster with shorter divots.

The course I'm playing Sunday is known for being, well... soggy.  but it also has some thin and compact patches.  So there's a good chance I'll get a variety of lies, even if I managed to hit all fairways (which I won't).

I thought I did, but I must have just put 4-PW... either that or it's on back order... or someone mistakenly put it in the silverwear drawer already.

What a good looking club @GolfSpy BOS!  The 8 iron looks like a cross between the old Ben Hogan Apex Edge & a PXG iron.  Nice!

Mine was with a local fitter that I’ve been got with before. They are an Edel authorized dealer and I think we’re with them early on which is kind of cool.

Just have a quick update for tonight.  I ended up getting to the range for a quick session last Wednesday and I was very happy with how it went.  The clubs feel solid at impact and what my eyes were telling me is that the ball flight is a bit higher than my gamers, which is something that would be beneficial for me since I tend to come in steep with a low launch angle.  I brought my Mevo with me and plan to review the data later to compare and do some direct head to head comparisons to make sure I'm putting the same swing on the ball with each set.  Overall I was a bit inconsistent as it was only my second time at the range this year and I'm definitely not in mid-season form yet.

That inconsistency carried over into my round on Friday but the issue was all with my driver and woods.  The irons performed well for the first round out, distance seemed the same or better as my Z585s but it was also tough to get a read on things as it was extremely windy and had to be factored in continuously.  Going to see if I can get back out again this week & weekend but no guarantees with a soccer tournament occupying my Friday, Saturday & Sunday along with Mother's Day.

Glad to hear things are going well. Given that you were playing in the wind, how did they perform there. Was the higher ball flight something you had to adjust to? Did the ball seem to hold up through the wind?

So I noticed the higher ball flight first at the range where it was pretty calm.  I observed the same flight while out on the course while playing in the wind also but I didn't have any issues with the ball ballooning on shots into the wind.  It cut through pretty well so really the only difference was a better descent angle.  It's something I will definitely be paying attention to and will try to get some data on going forward.

There is a good chance that part of the higher flight is due to the weaker lofts on the longer irons compared to my gamers.  Again I'll have to hit them back to back and try to get some data to confirm over the next few weeks.

Yes the lofts are quite weak in the long irons bu modern standards, 5 iron is at 26 so yes should go more like many peoples 6 iron height wise. Look forward to hearing more.

These pictures are insane and these irons are down right delicious.  Can't wait to keep seeing how they perform on course for you all.  Great stuff all cant wait to keep hearing more
