Bounce game today, I seem to never stop tweaking my swing and setup. Striking the ball better but stats don't show it, lots of drives just off the fairways and approaches just missing greens. Low light was the double at 4, hit green in regulation but long, putting down the step in the green, misjudged the pace and de-greened, duffed the 1st chip, then chip and putt for 7. Started well with a chip in from just off the edge at 1.

Ok I am giving this a try and trying not to embarrass myself. I was off bad to Of course part of the putting deal is we have crappy greens. Putter not working at all. Last 5 holes were really slow. They had put off a group of hackers in front of us on the back and our whole group was stacked up the last 5 holes plus it was getting hot. I started getting hot and my body tightening up. Part of the putting woes were the crappy greens we have, They mess with my mind. But I was not rolling it well at all

Good day playing the course that gives me the most issues. Hit 9 fairways and 11 greens. Had 31 putts today. The course was in great shape, but played very hard. The tees were all set back and many pins were hidden. However, I struck the ball very well. Back is slowly improving.

Even par on the front.   105 degree heat index at 1:30 tee time in Iowa.  Decided to have some beers for the back after hydrating on the front.   Welllllll…..that was the downfall.  After hitting a groove low on the par 3 11th and still making par.  Par 5 12th, was all over after a good drive down the middle and took a double.   Long story short and two 7% beers later.   A 41 was dialed up for the back 9 and a 77.

It’s getting there. That one was down wind  and caught the backside of a big hill. Ha ha. I get through about 8 holes then it bothers me the rest of the way. I have been able to play through it. However, I can’t play back to back days yet.

My game was really good, other than the 4 shanks lol.  Those rarely show themselves, but when they do... Double each time.... Possibly could've had a decent round without them.  All were on approach shots after a big drive.  Very windy day.

Fairly good round. I shot better on the front than the back, which is unusual. I just didn’t hit as many good shots on the back. I bogeyed the easiest hole on the course. The pin position was tough, but I just overcooked the shot and put it over the green and short siding my chip.

PXG irons worked much better today after working on a few thoughts this morning at the range. Driver was giving me fits on a couple holes and it cost me some strokes. Overall, things are coming together with the swing changes.

I will say this - I have put two very good rounds together in a span of a couple days 
One thing that has helped is my driving - getting it further down the fairway or even further down the course but in the rough has proven to shave a few strokes a round off 
I def want to thank @Javs and @Preeway as I reached out to them earlier this year and asked how they drove the ball as far as they did and both came back to being flexible - I can say they were correct - I have added a flexibility routine and have gained about 4MPH with driver and I am def turning it over better than I ever have 
So thanks to both of them

Glad to hear I was able to help. I’m only 5’7 (with shoes on, lol) and I can still hit the occasional bomb. But mostly I’m just happy to be able to hit it consistently 270-280 thanks to good flexibility in my back. I will be working this winter on improving my flexibility some more as I still have room to improve.

Congratulations on the great round and drives! I swear by stretching and flexibility. Thank you for the shout out. Glad it has worked out for you! I also implement weight lifting and swimming. Hope you continue to have great success! Bombing it down the hole is fun!

It's an achievement for some ppl.. Been wanting to hit one since the first club I swung! More proud of that then when I broke 80.. Personal goals
