I would like to introduce myself to the GolfSpy community. I am Bernard Sheridan and I am a Advanced Instructor at Impact Zone Golf in Naples Fl. I will be posting tips to help your game. If there are any tips you would like to see covered please let me know. Here is a great tip we use with all of our students to help them strike the ball first then take a divot after. Draw three lines as shown in the photo.

Set up at the back line and try to strike the turf at the front line. If you do it correctly the back line will stay intact and the middle line will be gone alone with the front line. The back line represents the ball. Your divot should start just I. Front of that back line.

Welcome from the Pacific Northwest!  Glad you joined us.  I used to spend a lot of time in Naples; played a lot of golf there.  Had a good fiend that lived there until he died about 7 years ago.
