Yeah most are a week out.  The city course is going to prob be the toughest to get on honestly. Falcon and Star should be easy enough.

I’ll try them first, if I can’t get on I’ll look for another alternative. You’re in for the tee times? I know you said you may only get in two days but I’ll put you in for the three just in case.

... This is about the only advantage to the record heat here in Phoenix. We made the tee time this morning and are playing at 2:56 today with high school kids teeing off right behind us at 3:04. But there are no tee times for 2 hours in front of us. Not one. Normally the 2 of us could play in under 3 hours walking but with temps at 108* we will be taking our time, trying to find shade to enjoy for a few minutes because it's rare on this course and drinking three 32oz bottles of water. Also it's only $23 but will go up to $36 October 1st.

We haven't had that heat this year but it doesn't typically keep people from playing. During the week is a lot easier than weekends unless it's football season and then it's a little better. 

I wish we had somewhere for $22. Ha. Not even my goat track is priced like that. They have a Groupon for 2 for $60 which is close but the course is rough.

... Summer rates and fall/winter/spring rates are radically different here. I am lucky I found my favorite muni that hosts a lot of prestigious tournaments and get a Sr City Card discount. $50 a year. Probably around $90 to take a cart in prime season for a non senior visitor and it is packed every single day. Empty in the summer. Most courses will be charging $175-$350 in season because visitors and snowbirds will pay it. I can play those same courses in summer for under $60 with a cart.

Nice. We don't have rate changes at most. I guess maybe Barton Creek Resort may.  Our problem is most have decided they deserve a fortune and are 5 plus hour rounds.

Hated to do it but even the wife agreed it was a crazy deal!!  Opened it up yesterday and had to take a few swings. This has replaced my 3w for a shorter fairway finder club

Local guy on FB had it and I had to see it in person to really know. Was dirty and looked scuffed but it cleaned up really nice and easy

Controversial opinion, but I think these are the best grips bar NONE. Such good grips - played a set of these for about 3 years multiple times a week and they still feel good today.

I just bought a kit to replace all my grips and am worried they'll be cheap based on the price. 

 

Wanted to try switching to midsize so I didn't want to spend too much money on new grips.

Haven’t tried them, but did some research a while back and they seemed to get good reviews.  

Grips4Less.com has Star Grips for a great price and you can mix and match

Dropped by Dick's last night for a few minutes. Somehow with all the hullabaloo about the Ai Smoke drivers I was not aware of the Max Fast version. Must resist... Or if not, find it used; a quick Google found one already on sale at Callaway Pre-Owned at a nice price.
