No I didn't. I had the 915. I just got the G30 2 weeks ago.

Played in a 2 man scramble today and my irons were the star me birdied 4 of our first 5 holes - 3 of which were because of fantastic iron shots. It was a cold and the wind was stronger than forecasted, but I was able to execute my shots.

 

Took home 1st place!

Played in a 2 man scramble today and my irons were the star me birdied 4 of our first 5 holes - 3 of which were because of fantastic iron shots. It was a cold and the wind was stronger than forecasted, but I was able to execute my shots.

 

Took home 1st place!

First 3 iron shots of the day resulted in birdies:

 

8 iron to 10 feet

6 iron to 12 feet

7 iron to 8 feet

 

4th iron shot resulted in a 2 lipped out par putts

 

8 iron to 9 feet

Thats some serious pin knocking!!

Just for yucks, what new JPX 900's will be replacing sometime this winter for me. 1996 Wilson Staff RM Midsize 2-SW in remarkable condition - most people I played with last year couldn't believe the condition/age.

 

I guess I'm the opposite of a club ho, don't we all deserve news sticks every 20 years? My wife, who doesn't play golf, says ‘I don't care, but I can't see why you need new clubs, these look fine to me...' :blush:

When I bought my PowerBilt TPS's in 1996, those clubs were a close second when I was testing. I'm still playing my 1996 model, too, and will likely be replacing in the spring. Definitely going to hit some Mizuno's when the time comes.

I gotta ask, do you hand wash, then wax and polish those clubs after every round/practice session?? Those look brand new! I used to clean my clubs after every round but they eventually started to wear on the bottom.

Such a cool pic, but lets make sure we keep this thread on topic for the readers all over the web that are coming here looking for review information and discussion about the mizuno irons !

I've asked before, does anyone (fellow reviewers/moderators) have an avenue to check on the Tour Forged review progress.

That particular review is what I have been looking forward to the most (as far as my game is concerned,... all the reviews have been outstanding)

I was hoping for an update from Severtheties.

I should've known better than to post that pic. Sorry.

Not a criticism at all, hope you didn't take it as such😁. Even my wife laughed at me because after every round, I would take all the clubs and hand wash them in the sink, with a tooth brush. She said it was worse then babying my car, 😂🤣. Now I have two young kids, the irons are lucky to get washed at all, 😂🤣 just commenting in how super clean they looks 👍

I hope you all can accept my apology for taking so long. 70-80 hour work weeks for 1.5 months plus 2 kids under 2 and family obligations have taken over. I took a "mental health" day today just to finish this and some other loose ends that have staked up.

MAN! I'm the only one in my company that underwrites the specific type of loan that I do and so the end of the year is usually busy for me anyways but the company decided this year that not only are we going to put a promotion on my product but they were also going to revamp our entire front to end process and they were going to start with my product to "perfect" the system meaning every single executive involved in this process is looking at every single of on my loans lol.

Nice job on the pics. For some reason I couldmt enlarge the LM data charts on my phone. Will have to wait until I get on my laptop.

 

But from your descriptions in the performance part. You definitively maximized the fitting.
