We don’t know nearly enough yet for me to really talk about this.  But we got some very troubling health news on FABWIFE pretty much out of the blue yesterday.  No diagnoses yet.  And it could very well be nothing at all.  We are both shocked, scared, realistic about not overreacting, and figuring out what to do next.  Very fortunately, we have family in health care with relevant expertise who are guiding us to specialists to get this figured out.  So now, we get up, go to work, wait, act normal, and tackle this too.  Surreal.

Thanks for “listening” friends.  If you have a quiet moment to do so today, please send a prayer her way.

And don’t let me bring you down.  Embrace your day!  May it be a good one.

Happy Wednesday morning Spies!

No golf on the agenda as today is yardwork day. The continued heat has started turning the grass dormant so I expect that yard duty will likely turn into a two-week cycle which will be a welcome change. we actually have some small possibility of rain in the forecast for the weekend!

@IndyBonzo prayers for your wife and hope that all turns out positive.

Got to give it to @GolfSpy_APH as Jamie is a master at keeping the pot stirred!

Speaking of testing...

Here is a pic of the CaddyDaddy Claw glove I tested earlier this summer. I still use it 5 to 6 times a week, 56 rounds on it so far. Every round has been in temperatures over 100 degrees.

And, all I can say is "What a glove!!!"

Some wear on my index finger and the heel of my hand where I squeeze too hard, and some sweat and dirt stains. I have only washed it once.

Morning to all. Last day of work for the week and then we are headed on our trip to Texas. Funeral is scheduled for Friday and I'm just looking forward to being done with it all. Too much family drama has come out of this and I'm ready to check out from the nonsense and go back to our quiet life 3 states away.

Also got a fun one lined up for Saturday. Locked in a multi-company-combo test (let's hear your best guesses) and ... well actually we locked in two of those which should be special.

No golf today, a/c check-up/service this morning so no golf. All good with a/c, phew.  Zero commute work day, but may head out to lunch with a client.  Warm & muggy day 88 degrees with rain predicted this afternoon.  On 4th cup of double espresso, makes for a quicker day

Good late Wednesday morning spies! Super busy start to the workday today as we continue our employee biometric screenings. Afternoon shouldn't be as bad, so I'll be able to make some phone calls to get individuals scheduled for intake assessments for our next diabetes prevention program. 

Got an email last night that the SM10 I ordered through my fitting is being prepared, so hoping it'll ship before the estimated 10/4 () date I was given. I also got my order in for the other SM10 at my club's pro shop, and the pro told me it was showing two weeks till in hand. So hoping for that time frame for both!

Still on a high and continually daydreaming about when my GT woods arrive. I know those will certainly be at least a few weeks out, but I will be anxiously awaiting them the entire time, lol.

Back to School night is this evening for the boys, and then I think we are going out for dinner with some of the families of Myles' classmates afterwards. Should be a fun evening!

Well good morning rather good afternoon. I went to bed early last night and woke up early this AM. Went back to bed and almost got up late since Wednesday we tee off at 7AM. Played really well shot 78 which was decent for me. The old school wrist pop putting thing worked well today. Fixing to rest up and then the wife and I will go out to dinner because she works tonight.

The course I play most often I hit driver on 6 holes (Yellow tees, 5700 yds.).  On it's sister course I hit driver on 13 or 14 holes (Yellow tees, 5800 yds.).  My GHIN course handicap is one stroke lower for the second course.  All about the shape of the hole and placement of hazards.

My wife just got home with the cat and they noted that his white blood count was his, so they gave him an antibiotic. They drained some glands and also gave him an appetite stimulant. 

My wife is a nervous wreck right now. She handles all sorts of emergencies like a champ but animal issues get to her, especially with Mr Socksies.

@sirchunksalot fingers crossed the vet visit and meds work for .. omg .. Mr Socksies??!! That is way too cute!! Also hope you get the annoying computer issues worked out. And careful with that knee!

@IndyBonzo thoughts and hopes and prayers are with you and Ms FABWIFE for only good news.....

@ejgaudette hope you can get that washer and delivery mess sorted. Very frustrating...

@Northern Monkey really saddened to read about so many injured LEOs. Especially at what "should be" (quote-unquote) a fun community event. Why are so many people so frickin crazy stoopit bonkers....

He's a tailless manx and we have several nicknames for him like Nubbykins, the Nubster, Nubby Wan Kenobi, and Mr Stalksie. 

The computer has been sent back to the manufacturer and hopefully we'll hear something soon on it. 

The knee is feeling better but I've still got some fluid on it. It's only uncomfortable if I get the knee past 90°, feels like it is stretching the skin.

Hi Spies! Got through another day in Miami. Raining now but hopefully it clears before I keep my reservation at a Cuban restaurant in about an hour. In between work and dinner, my first Fit For Golf workout since I finished my MGS review of the app 2+ weeks ago. Had to adapt the workout to what the hotel fitness room had but managed to get in a good workout, mostly lower body.

@sirchunksalot good news on Mr. Socksies! I call my two cats Worm and Brisket, although neither one has that actual name. 

@taylorjonasher I haven't found that I hit it far enough to worry about driver vs. 3 wood yet, and right now the big dog is my most reliable club. So I let him eat early and often. Maybe one of these days I'll have to worry about hitting it too far...

@sirchunksalot hope your cat gets better, hard to deal with when pets get sick.  

 

My dog just had a broken tooth and the vet said not to worry about it unless it gets abscessed.   Said only 70% of cases does the tooth abscess and it should numb and not bother him too much after a couple of weeks.

Also had to call around and find antibiotics for one of our chickens that's sick.  Most stores stopped selling them because of California but was able to find one that still had some.

Good morning Spies!

Our time on the Amalfi Coast has come to an end and we are preparing for a long travel day back up to Northern Italy. We'll be staying one night on Lake Como before heading to Milan for a few nights for the Formula 1 race. The Amalfi Coast is incredible and has been such a beautiful part of our trip. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to see what Italy has to offer!

Good morning everyone! 

It's community call day and I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say this evening. 

Mr Socksies is doing good, he was being a little picky about food yesterday evening but I did see him munch on some this morning. Hopefully we'll see more improvement throughout the day. 

@Byrnzee great photos! That photo of the ships, buildings, and the cliffs is worthy of being a wall hanger. 

It's the last production day of the week for me before coming in Friday to do busy work. At least I have a 4 day weekend coming up and I'm excited about that.
