It was just there for me, I posted my scores for the weekend, and it looks like I'm continuing my trend of playing at the bottom.

I feel for you Bryan. My last 2 rounds have put me at the bottom looking up. Maybe this week!!!!

Season 2 - Week 10

 

We had a LOT of activity this week with Spies on the Courses.. 127 rounds posted including some rounds from the MGS Invitational Meet Up at Pinehurst. 

If you haven't visited the thread from the Meet Up... check it out!! I looks like it was a GREAT time!

Most Birdies or Better.

Separating himself from the field this week with the ONLY double digit Birdie count on the leaderboard... and from my understanding... shooting a career low score in the process...

@Jnoble89 posted 13 net birdies or better on his way to claiming victory and willing the Birdie Badge for the week.  I expect we will be seeing his name a lot more at the top of the leaderboard in the coming weeks.

 

Longest Drive

Look at this list of drives this week!!!:

At the top of the list, and edging out two very close competitors... 

@RayOstroskiLD smashed a 348 yard drive to claim the Longest Drive badge for the week.  NICE DRIVE RAY!

Just ONE PACE back... @Josh Ross and @CB Lobo 4 Life posted 347 yard drives, falling just short of the prize... but tremendous drives none-the-less. 

 

I am so proud of the activity in the VCT and all the scores being posted.  Thank You All!!

Looking at the long drives by many of the VCT competitors is giving me an inferiority complex!  I'd be hard pressed to hit 347 yards with my driver and decent 5 wood.  In a sport that has no shortage of performance metrics, there has to be something that recognizes and rewards those of us who are driver distance challenged?  Maybe longest drive divided by the number of net birdies?  Maybe the longest distance above a golfer's navel to their pants waist band?  Or maybe driving distance divided by the time in the afternoon they eat their early bird dinner (what's 185 yards divided by 4pm)?

Wait a minute I may have more, but I have to grab my walker and so I can go out and yell at kids to get off my lawn!

Same suggestion as above but replace "lost ball" with "rest room"
