Pieced a couple of 9's together for the score.  MD is my mom, it's been a blessing to get to enjoy a Sunday afternoon with her in the summers. But she doesn't always keep score. Played Spring Lake Country Club in my hometown. White tees put me at a course handicap of 19 (per ghin) and shot a combined 91.  4 pars on the front with 2 pars and a bird on the back.

Match Play week 1 is wrapping up and week 2 is about to start!  To drop a hint, week 1 matches were pretty competitive.  As soon as we get the final scores in, we'll post the week 1 results. 

To finish up week 1, we need posted scores (including course handicap, hole handicap and hole by hole scores) from the following:  @Placasse61, @Golfspy_CG2, @daviddvm and @TG8.  I also need @Clayton course handicap for his submission.

As for week 2 goes, we have most of the team rosters in.  Captains of the following teams need to submit their pairings as soon as you can:  Duckboats Vol. 2, Birdie Blasters, The Fight Club, Midwest Aces and LAB Results:  In The Cup.  

If week 2 is anything like week 1, we'll have a bunch of good scores and close matches.

Just to tease some of the Week 1 results, Golf Cart Posse ( @David Staller and @JHN) and Push Cart Mafia  (@Claytonand @dback) fought to a halved round.  Each team won six holes, each team lost six holes and they tied six holes!  No one team had more than a one-hole advantage through the entire round.  Push Cart Mafia's @dback par on the last hole with a stroke halved the match!

I couldn't have been more dramatic even if you four were face to face!

That would have been a tremendous match to watch!!! Thanks for the overview @Golf2Much - I love that!!!!  Pulled out the halve on the last hole... @dback... tell me about that par....

This was @TG8's score from week 1 - Per discussion with @GolfSpy TCB, he received no strokes on this particular course (Pine Ridge Golf Course (Belle, Missouri)).  I added the "Net" info below, but please feel free to double-check it.  

Also, fwiw, I believe he did post this in Week 22's thread, but it may not have been entered as a score within the thread (I believe it gets locked anyway).  Let me know if you need anything else on this front. 

 

All that being said, for week 2, we've got Myself teaming up with @TG8, and @EasyPutter and @ZMendle10 wreaking havoc as our 4B team (assuming the numbers are the same as last week).  I'll try my best not to forget who the pairings are, lol.  

There is a small possibility that TG might be out for the week (messed up his back last week), and if that's the case, is there a list of alternates that I can pick from?  As we're a L.A.B. centric team, I've got my eyes on someone in particular, but won't name names in case that's non-kosher

I mentioned this in our Staff Slack channel but I’d have paid good money to watch the @Ben Joest @Shlax vs @swansosa @LinksgolfFever match in real life. By my unofficial scoring it was a doozy!  One team up 4 then the other rattles off 4 straight wins. Only the 18th was halved on the back. Just crazy
