ParFore74x
So I haven’t bought this but, a coworker and I were discussing my new found love of teeing off with my 4 iron on certain holes that I really just need to be in the fairway. Sometimes I wish that I had a bit more distance of course which is where this bit comes in. He brought in a Mizuno MP-18 2 iron to take out and play a round with. At first I told him that there is no way I’ll be able to hit that consistently. He told me to try it anyways so I brought it home today and will hopefully get a few swings with it this weekend. I don’t have any real expectations but I am intrigued. Will likely go buy a few more pair so I'm set for a while because I've been wearing the same pair for over 7 years. I am a size 13/14 4E and if I don't have the heel BOA system, shoes that are wide enough in the toe area usually flop on my heel a bit and make golfing in them a pain. Happy to have found something comfortable that fits! My last shoe was the FootJoy D.N.A. and weirdly enough it fit me perfectly in a 12 4E. None of their other shoes in the past 7 years have fit the same until now with the HyperFlex! So pumped! Thanks for the info:) I may end up picking a pair up. Popular Post bens197
The U505 with the Tensei 1K black really has been nice. It’s a very predictable and reliable ball flight. I chose the Tensei 1K because I’ve enjoyed that lineup and while the white was my first choice but unavailable, the black plays very similar. Notable differences are the cosmetics…it’s a matte finish compared to the shiny white 1K. Both have XLink tech and both have a similar feel. I say similar, not exact. The black is a little more sturdy and doesn’t have the softer feel I am used to with the white. It’s not abrasive by any means, just that I don’t get that extra oomph that I feel with its cousin. sirchunksalot, J7Hawkins, josmi15 and 12 others 15 Quote Titleist TSi3 Fujikura Speeder NX Blue 60X TaylorMade SIM2 3 wood Fujilkura Ventus Blue 7-X Titleist U505 2 Tensei 1K Black 85 X Titleist T100 4-P Nippon Modus 3 120X PING S159 50-S 55-H 59-T DG X100 L.A.B. Popular Post Grand Stranded
On 8/3/2023 at 11:18 AM, Grand Stranded said: I’m going to try a little experiment. I just ordered a Halo Launcher XL 5 iron with a KBS shaft (same as my irons). I played the Halos 5-DW for a while before switching to my E722’s. I hit my current 5 iron very well off a tee, but depending on the lie, I’m sometimes hesitant to hit it off the turf. I could easily get by with it, but I remember the Halo 5 iron working so well from any lie. Because I’m so familiar with the club, I knew I’d have to get it 2* strong in order to gap properly between my G425 4H and my E722 6 iron. It only cost me $103 including a $14 upgrade shaft for a club that I know will give me exactly what I want for way less than the cost of a standard 5H. Okay kids… Change of plans with this “experiment”. I wasn’t quite sold on the idea of getting the Halo Launcher 5 iron, so I took a 30 mile drive today with my friend to the nearest PXG fitter and hit the Gen5 XF and the 0211 25* hybrids. He recommended I go with the 0211 as my numbers were almost identical between the two, it was $50 cheaper, and I didn’t need the adjustability on the XF. I got a 10% Locals Discount (that’s a big thing down here) so it only ended up costing me $107. I made a quick call to TGW, and when they said they would be able to cancel the Cleveland 5 iron, it was a done deal. My buddy also bought the 0211 4 and 5 hybrids today. He put things in perspective when I was deciding what to do. He told me “when you can get a new PXG hybrid for under $110, don’t over think it.” MattF, cnosil, J7Hawkins and 8 others 11 Quote Driver: G425 Max 10.5* Fairway: Stealth 3HL & 7W Hybrids: Stealth 22* & 25* Irons: JPX 923 HM 6-AW Wedges: Tour Issue Glide 4.0 54-12 Tour Issue Glide 4.0 58-10 Putter: ER7 34”

Matty 3-Putts
Had a strange bout with my golf shoes as of late. I've been using the Adidas CodeChaos 21s since 2021. Loved the heck out of em and wore em out till the sole was peeling. Was excited to find my local Adidas outlet had them early this year half price at $75. Score! Or so I thought... I'm not sure what's different between the ones I wore for a full season + and these, but I got foot pain and a hot spot on the ball of my foot. After only 2 months in them, I couldn't take it and picked up the new FootJoy Hyperflex shoes. Also, because I had them modified I couldn't order them together, I had to submit two separate orders. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. Popular Post fozcycle
On vacay in Southern Indiana for my Granddaughter’s First Birthday and we were strolling through a Peddler’s Mall when I saw some clubs. After about an hour, this was the first set I saw. Jack Nicklaus XP/70 Registered irons #2 - #9 in pristine condition. The shafts and grips are all original. Funny thing about the shafts…….they are Mac Gregor Tours and they are aluminum! Plan on going to the range then maybe playing a round or two with them. They are very similar to the Nicklaus Muirfields I played in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s. BTW, I only paid $75 for them. See attached…. Lighter than steel….The set I found was definitely taken care of. The original grips are leather wraps and in pristine condition. sirchunksalot, cksurfdude, MattF and 2 others 5 Quote Driver: 0311 XF 10.5* w/Project X Cypher 40 gram Senior shaft or 0811 XF 12* w/Evenflo Riptide CB Senior shaft Fairways: 0211 5W & 7W w/ Evenflo Riptide CB regular shaft and Tour Edge E521 9W w/Fubuki HD50 regular shaft Hybrid: None in bag at the moment Irons: Titleist T300 5-PW w/Fubuki MV Senior graphite shafts w/Golf Pride Tour Wedges: Edison forged 49*, 53* and 57* wedges with KB PGI Senior shafts(80 grm).
