High 70's to low 80's around here in the Boise Idaho area (Treasure Valley). Been in a late-afternoon thunderstorm trend most days...sometimes we get hit, sometimes not. Weekend looks similar but maybe cooler in the mid-70's. Real plesent sleeping-with-the-windows-open weather each evening-love it!

That telco/power pedestal sitting half buried in a pool of water was well planed on somebody's part!

 

On a selfish note, at least it's warm enough to mow in the middle of October where you live!

Was a hot one today. 90*. Walked 18 holes. You don't realize how much it hits you until after the round.. or maybe that was because of the omlette, hash browns and pancakes I had. Haha. Nap was good though.

Been getting hit with late-afternoon thunder-bumpers of late. Little breezy but an decent start again to the day here. Heading to the range to meet up with an old friend who has also taken up golf recently. Time to excersice the new G400! No posts since July!!  Weather is changing.

I'm feeling for you guys back easy with the cold weather settling in, and you guys on the Gulf coast with yet another hurricane bearing down.  Stay safe!!

It's getting cooler here in the Northwest, and it has been dry up until recently.  It rained hard last night, but hard for us is 0.5 inches.  That brings our total rainfall for the year to 4.6 inches.  That's short of our normal annual total of 7 inches.  I've heard that's the El Nino effect; all the rain is pushed to the southwest.

I had to turn on the heat yesterday as temps are getting close to the 30's at night.  However, the forecast is sunny and temps in the mid-60's during the day for the next week.  Perfect golf weather!!

Looks like Hurricane Michael will be bringing some changes to the southeast and up through the mid-Atlantic.  It's been snowing/sleet on and off here in the Ruby Valley - this following an almost spring like, absolutely gorgeous day yesterday.  Two days ago we made plans to play this Saturday, but now the forecast is for snow.  One thing about spring and fall weather is that it rarely fails to provide excitement and frustration scheduling activities.
