Hey folks, curious what weather app you use and why?

I used the weatherbug for the longest but recently tried the weather channel app.

I like the info it gives with a scroll and I don't have to hunt for anything.

I'll probably keep it and uninstall the bug.

I've been using Accuweather for a couple of years now and it works fine...like any other weather forecasting, it's not 100% accurate.

Weather channel app and Wunderground app for temp/forecast. I particularly like the 10 day graph feature of Wunderground. In addition Storm Radar for the best radar. Lastly and this would apply for those on the boast or on the great lakes i use Buoy Reader which provides real time wind - speed and direction (the feed is taken from navigational buoys)

Looks like you should do a Spy weather forecast on YouTube or Facebook live for the weekends.

Used Weather Underground for the longest time. Recently switched to Dark Sky after reading the praise about it. Simple interface, and pretty accurate.

It's difficult to forecast the weather in my area.  Storms come in from the Pacific, but the Cascade Mountains block a lot of it.  Many years ago the forecasts were always wrong.  Now the models are getting better, and Weather Underground is the best I've tried.  I like the 10 day view and the Wundermap feature.  I can look at the weather across the country and see who's getting tornados and hurricanes.  Just watching out for you guys!

I'm also going to download the Wunderground app and see how it does.  Currently I have a weather app from a local news station that works pretty good most of the time.

Accuweather here. It's easy and at least gives somewhat good information. I always found the weather channel app to be way off, like accuweather would say sunny and 68, and weather app would say rainy and 57. Clearly I wanted the 68 and sunny so I went with that one. Seriously though, the weather channel app always seemed to be off for my location

They all have some different characteristics that I like especially Storm that shows direction of the storms.
