Other than my 9-hole round walking in the rain this last week, no golf for me.  Temps 30º high and 18º low; snow expected later.  Looks about the same for next week unless we get a Chinook wind.

Not likely, but things are looking up for next week.  At least on this side of the Gorge.

Had a pretty great round considering the weather and that I haven't been able to play or practice in about a week. New driver and 3W were awesome. Nothing crazy long but easy swings in the cold were making it around 260-270 all day. Overall, I'm very happy with my round even though it was pretty tame as far as stats go.

I feel like at this point of the season, it's more important to just get a round in even if it isn't spectacular. Take advantage of those points that our friend in colder climates can't get. Still, I'm seeing some awesome numbers on the leaderboard this week. Great job everyone!

Not over here!  Snowing now for the next 10 days... highs around 34, lows around 25.  I could at least hit balls in my hitting bay if I put up the net, but with turf coming soon I'd just have to take it down to put the turf in.  Guess I'll just do exercises and speed work.

Based on how my game is going,  I'd be willing  to put up the net and take it down when the turf was received.  I need to get out and hit some balls.

WEEK 10 FINAL LEADERBOARD

MYGOLFSPY FORUM MEMBER CHAMPIONSHIP TOUR

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Another awesome turnout for the "off season" !!!  Thanks everyone for keeping this tourney alive by posting your rounds.  I know we can't all post every week due to weather and other conflicts, but that is what makes the Golf Season what it is.  I am proud to be completing the 10th week of this Virtual Championship Tour and to date we have posted 223 individual rounds as part of this competition.  Let's keep it going!!!

WEEK 10 WINNERS:

Low Net Score:

image.png

image.png

Playing out of the West Lothian Golf Club in the U.K. (And wearing a stylish Sombrero in the process), @Alf. S shot 5 under par (-5) net to claim this week's victory for Low Net Score!!

image.png

Also posting strong rounds this week were @snicerz and @daviddvm both shooting (-3) net scores at their respective courses, @Blueberry_Squishie with a (-2) net score and @Peaksy68 with a (-1) net score.  Another strong week of scoring by the MyGolfSpy Forum Members!!

Most Birdies or Better:

Leading the charge with most net birdies or better during Week 10 was @Blueberry_Squishie with a total of 7 net birdies or better on the way to his (-2) net score at Werribee Park GC.  @Alf. S and @Peaksy68were close behind with 5 net birdies or better during their rounds.

Longest Drive:

image.png

image.png

300+ yard drives seem to be the norm for our forum members (just not me...haha).  Two drives this week topped 300 yards.  The longest by 1 yard was @Blueberry_Squishie with a 323 yard drive.  But since Blueberry is sporting the net birdie badge this week, the Long Drive Badge goes to someone who is familiar with driving the ball LOOOONNNGGG!!  @PMookie wins this week's badge with his 322 yard bomb at Frenchman's Bend.

Congratulations to all the winners and Thank You all for continuing to post your rounds and compete in the MGS Forum VWCT!!

Be sure to check out the updated MGS Forum Cup Points thread to see how this week's scores impact the year long points race!
