I can't watch Tiger anymore, it's painful

We were out on the course and missed all the hoopla until after the round.  Two of the guys were giving updates on newsfeeds and guess what... they did not jive with each other.

A couple other things from being there yesterday:

The electronic signs were great at telling how far the next shot was, but nothing said how far a drive had gone. Late in the day I realized I could have downloaded the course onto my watch, and put it in golf mode and at least gotten more information. Has anyone tried this, and was it worth it? I did see a guy with a rangefinder.

My wife hasn't paid attention to men's golf at all this year. I got home a few minutes ago from a bike ride, and she's not only got the tournament on TV, she gave me a detailed run down of what's been happening. 

The rakes for fairway bunkers are kept outside the ropes, well away from possibly getting in the way. There's a volunteer right there to bring it when needed. Caddies take a very long time raking bunkers. I'm sure they're not being slow, just very meticulous. I wonder if I can get one to come to my town and give a class (MANDATORY class if you want to play my course ).

Most of these guys play very fast. It's a minority who are slow, and some are s-l-o-w. I understand why fast guys get frustrated.

Each group of three had a caddie with a different color bib on, white, yellow, and blue. Anyone know if there's a reason other than variety? The volunteer I asked hadn't noticed, and didn't know. It's probably nothing, but I can speculate that it might make spotting easier for the media.

As you mentioned,  it is to help identify the player when they are far away.  The color should be listed in the days tee time sheet.

While you are correct the pictures and memes are great for a laugh,  I get cringy when people start name calling and then questioning other people’s character.

Agreed.  I can only hope his celebrity status does not get him off.  He should be totally accountable for his actions, pro golfer or not.

I think Valhalla is the only curse I’ve played where a major championship is held. It was five years ago, played from the tips, such an amazing place.

The Scottie love is understandable, but I keep telling everyone that it isn't going to continue. Don't get me wrong.... I think Scottie is a class act and I wish no bad luck on him. But, as I always say... Golf is an equal opportunity hater. It will smile on you (someone) for a time.... then, it moves on to someone else. Just ask Tiger.

What a show! I was kinda hoping for a playoff but Bryson did all he could. Xander had to win one at some point.

Good for Xander, glad to see him break through.  Nervy winning putt there, and I appreciated the hammer it along the line method of speed control for it.    I'm guessing his heart skipped a beat as it started its spin!

Was actually trying to figure out who was more nervous, Xander with his last putt or Lowery with his last putt yesterday
