Playing The Honda Classic for the first time as a pro, Woods started the fourth round nine strokes back of McIlroy before electrifying tournament crowds, culminating in a birdie-eagle finish to complete a career-best final round 62.

I just got back from wpb and the weather was nice! I don't think they'll have any problems with snow on the golf course this week!

 

When I was at the terminal waiting for my departure plane, rolling putts at snead's, I looked across the tarmac and saw Air Force One. Pretty cool I thought, I couldn't get a clear pic, probably the only time I wish i had a real amera and not the iPhone or iPad camera.

I am sorta hoping everyone started Rory and Jason Day today. That way no matter how poorly my players play I should still beat those guys.

Total aside, but I watched the golf channel while flying back to Boston on JetBlue, that was pretty awesome way to spend my time on a plane.

I'm starting to lose some respect for Rory. I don't care if you are having an off day, but withdrawing because you have a sore tooth???? Can you imagine this happening in a different sport?

 

Can you imagine Sydney Crosby skipping a hockey game because he wasn't mentally there and had a sore tooth? Pick any other professional sport and that athlete would be the laughing stock of the team and probable get blasted by the media. At some point at the level that those guys play at you have to just say suck it up and play through it.

I hate seeing any player walk off, but recently having an infected root canal (and later having the tooth removed) if he was in the sort of pain I was in, got no clue how he could have played 1 hole, much less 9.

Two, I'm a Nike hater, and not because of Rory, Tiger, or Michelle, but Michael Vick. Fresh out of prison they signed Vick to a contract. Why? He already had a contract (which means a job) with the Philadelphia Eagles. And I don't want to hear any second chance bull sh*t either.

 

Call me whatever you like, but because of Vick I will NEVER purchase, or even consider, a Nike product.
