Well the torrential down-pour prevented any and all on course coverage. The real winner today was BestGrips Putter and Club Grips. My fellow competitors (especially RoverRick with his Major Leaguer) can attest to this fact!

Looks like we will be playing golf. Yesterday. Best Grips took first place in the low dive catagory. This was immediately preceded by me taking first place in the Golf Cart X Games by successfully executing a double fishtail with 2 1/2 rotations if the pike position.

So I compleley dropped the ball on pictures! It rained so much yesterday I left the camera and the phone in the car. I was worried about the same thing today too. To top it off, I didn't even get pics of the cool swag (hopefully Roverrick, or Jbones will snap a few pics!)

I went back this morning before I left there, camera in hand, to take pictures of the course and was told sorry, not allowed on the course on Monday mornings.

BTW, AT&T did not work at all there so JBones was the only one that had a phone that worked.  He also had one that did not.  Wifi was only availible in the clubhouse and that was it for me.  So I simply never had my phone with the power on.  Since I could only use it in the clubhouse, I turned it off.

It is amazing how much clearer it looks in the picture than live.  I could barely see the second stripe in the road in person.

So I never heard anything about how things came out. Who was the champion Golfer of the year for the state of Texas? Or better yet who is going to come and play me and Hula for the right to be named Texas Golf Champion for MGS?
