  2. Golf Sidekick has one of the best channels on YouTube! I've watched just about every video of his over the past 4 years. His videos denouncing strokes gained and making digs at decade and mygolfspy are some of his best content. I believe Lou Stagner on Hack It Out Golf podcast has taken his unnamed shots at Matt, in a fun way like Matt does in his videos. I'd love to see Matt as a guest on their show, it would make for a very fun debate. The Golf Stat King vs Our Playa and Chief, with Mark Crossfield as the moderator. The guys on No Putts Given threw some shade on golf sidekick a few episodes ago. I feel like they are becoming very elitist as of late, and I don't enjoy their as much anymore. Anyways, embracing the Way of the Playa is very hard for me mentally. Even though Matt says to start playing golf, and stop playing golf swing, it's not that easy. lol For every 1 of his videos, there are 5 how to hit bombs video from Martin Borgmeir and friends. Being the biggest hitter in my league and out of all my friends, I feel obligated to put on a show on each tee box. No matter how many balls I lose off the tee, strokes gained says to go for the green! lol This year I'm going to do my best to play more conservative, pick my target better, and really focus on the short game. I can't tell you how many times after a good drive, leaving me 80-100 yards out, and it's taken 2-3 shots just to get on the green. Hopefully I'll get to plant my feather divot tool to grow birdies more often this year!
  3. Lions signed 2 CB (from TB and LV) free agents before the draft and moved up 5 spots (and before GB) to get Alabama Trevion Arnold who was projected to go anywhere from 10-17. Really great pickup to address a major need.
  4. Hello Everyone When I go practice grounds I have tube with where there are 20 balls that may be lost then another bag with 10 good quality balls for chipping or putting, another small bag where there are 4 balls that are as good as new, use mostly on the putting course. For on the Course I carry 9 good to very good balls and 9 bad ones for when things don't go my way. For practice I take way too many balls with me.
  5. Typically 1 hour early, I'm old so it takes a while to smooth things out. Hit a small bucket, chip and then putt a bit and hopefully shoot a little better than my age.
  6. Oh I think I found it, you have to choose condensed? You don't get to see a preview of the post that way, unfortunate.
  7. I admit it, I have a problem... this poor bastard has more vinyl wrap than a civic at a Thursday night car meet in a Costco parking lot... To answer your questions, no it doesn't seem to affect the roll of the ball, and yes the feel is almost the exact same. It has a slightly more muted sound on soft putts, but anything more than 5ft it sounds and feels the same. I dunno... I like it...
  8. I want thank MGS and Bridgestone for the opportunity to test the balls and I hope to be able to do more testing in the future! I received my Tour B RX balls a few weeks ago and was finally able to play them and compare them the MTB Prime X that I play currently. Firstly, the mindset logo on drives and putts seems to help with initial alignment and the dot makes it a better focus point but I would not call it something that I would say changed how it changed my game any different than before. Off the tee, the mindset ball was less spinny, prob what I need but they were on average 20 yards if not more father than the snell for driver. My irons are terrible right now so I won’t mention any comparable stats but I did not see any additional spin or accuracy on approach shots. Wedge shots did not show much difference between the two, but I am typically a high spinner so it more of where I land than actual strike. Putts were solid for both and the aiming helped a little but again not a game changer for me. Overall, I think I really like the Tour B RX and that may need to be my new gamer but I won’t say that I’m sold on the mindset.
  9. I used to be a 60 minute guy, or more. Now I usually like to hit 30 balls and then putt for 10-15 minutes.
  10. Let's hear it for Rat Patrol!! Perfect vehicle for any patrol duties...
  11. Don't know if this is the best place to ask, but I tried searching and couldn't find anything... Is there a way to revert the "recent content" view to not have every reply shown for threads, and only the most recent one? Used to be the case before. I love that these guys want to say good morning to each other but it floods the hell out of my feed
  12. I’m usually 30-45 min, but I really should be 60-90 min. May be I will go earlier this year!
  13. @Byrnzee Congrats on your first 500….. waiting for your second 500!!
  14. Made it out to the range today after a week hiatus, swung the Qi10 Max 8-10 times and was feeling really good with it. My swing is coming around, literally, and less up and down so closing the face has become a lot easier. Also feels like my speed is trending upwards which is a bonus. Still waiting for the shorter shaft to arrive and put it in the driver, can't wait to see if I like the shorter length or if maybe I have grown accustomed to the standard length. Some other experimentation is on the way as well, let's just say Sir "Otto-Phlex" will be making his way around the Max soon with a lot of great guidance from @IndyBonzo. All in all much more to come, including a tee time this Sunday!
  15. I almost pulled the trigger, but after shipping and converting to $CAD it brings it to roughly $150. That's still a stellar deal, they are on sale at Golftown for $229, but it's just not enough for me to commit. Plus, I like my 60º, so this would just be to play around with. High five on the sweet find though 🫸🫷
  16. I immediately thought of you calling in The A-Team when I saw that pic of the jeep..
  17. That’s awesome! May have to look into one!!! For now my sauce tube towel is working fantastically.
  18. Congratulations to all testers! Looking forward to reading the testing results.
  19. I try to get there at least 45 min early, so I have range time and just before tee off I hit the putting/chipping green and still triple putt the first hole lol
  20. I like to show up around an hour early, stretch, small bucket and some putting. I hate feeling rushed and to add that to going off on a first tee, possibly cold, too much anxiety!
  21. For me, I prefer the Golf Pride MCC+4 Standard. Have average size sweaty hands, especially during the late (humid) summer. I re-grip during the winter since there's not much else to do until the weather starts to break and courses reopen in spring.
  22. Right now I carry about three sleeves each a different type, looking at what is best for me right now.
  23. ... Thanks, really can't complain about Odunze who was ranked in the top #5 by most, so a steal at #9. My only concern was DLine is a position of need and the Bears are pretty set at WR for at least this year. Clearly the front office had Odunze rated much higher than any edge rusher so I am happy with their decision. ... I think it is interesting that Cutler didn't have the offensive players to win and when the Bears did give him weapons, the defense was one of the worst in the NFL under Tucker. Now the defense under Eberflus was top 6 the last half of the season but the shocker is the offense may be better. Something Bears fans have never experienced (other than the Tucker years). The NFC North just may be the strongest division in football this year. Every game should be a battle.
