The reason I don't want to start in back center is because I don't want to be able to see it at address. My putter does not have a cavity to hide the tape.

I was thinking the same thing if I ever get that good at golf, you will not catch me on the course in neutral colors ever.

Picked up a Tour AD-MJ XS for my Paradym TD. I have a harder time hitting up on the ball, and the stout shafts sometimes are an issue. Gonna see how it will do, if it’s too soft in the tip then I’ll try tipping it. If that still doesn’t work then I’ll end up trying it my Stealth 2+ 3w. The Ventus black 7x doesn’t quite fly the ball how I’d like and after just throwing an AD-DI in my TSR3 5w, I have a small affection for Graphite Design currently.

Don’t be afraid to put the lead tape on the bottom of the putter head.  Just make sure you burnish it in to make it smooth.  Several of the pros at my club have covered the entire bottom of their putter head with lead tape.

If you guys only knew.... I suppose "good" is a relative term, right @MattF. I shouldn't pick on him, he did beat me by about 10 strokes at Torrey on his sim just after Christmas.

Ordered a few things, and as luck would have it they all ended up coming the same day! 
Picked up a set of alignment sticks from Goodsticks w/ their coupler device to hold them in various positions, a No Laying Up cover for them (technically Goodsticks are magnetic and don’t need a cover but I think it looks cool), and a new umbrella from Shedrain based on MGS testing. Bonus, NLU threw in some branded tees.

We have a nice thread on DIY Heat Shrink Shaft Treatment that @hckymeyer started and I’d be stoked to see your finished project posted there. I like heat shrink because it’s inexpensive, an easy way to add some weight along the entire club and actually protects the shaft finish. It comes in a bunch of colors but I typically go for black w/ 3/4” ID and 3:1 shrink ratio. Two things to look out for: stay away from the “marine grade” stuff with heat activated adhesive and make sure it doesn’t have the product specifics printed on the exterior.

Re: tip weighting - it just depends on the project. Went with tungsten powder on this one even though I don’t particularly like the stuff. It’s annoying how the powder clings to the shaft, so I swab the interior with a rifle barrel cleaning kit after it’s cork plugged. Powder plus heat shrink added up to ~30 grams on this build.

Did the Heatshrink on putter shaft. Great little hack.

Shocked how quickly these came in, and so far so good on the fit, and as stated in the reviews these are very light golf shoes.

Well here’s where I’m going to start with the lead tape. It’s about 6 inches or 12g. I rolled a few putts before and after and there’s JUST enough tape to be able to tell there’s added weight there.

Another lead tape tinkerer here. You may already have, but smooth out that front edge as best you can so it doesn't drag in the grass...

Hi,  I am new to club collecting, re selling.  I found this club in a lot I bought on Facebook marketplace but can find no information on it?   Can anyone offer any insight on it?  I’ve never seen a club with a B marking on it….  Also, is there any value to it?   Thanks

Just tried an image search and didn't see that specific club, but it appears closely related to a TaylorMade Burner model (vintage unknown).

Maybe try some of those AI powered image searches...

.... As we all know the silly myth that a club knows it is about to be replaced and performs out of it's mind isn't true. But that doesn't mean it still doesn't happen.  I had my absolute best driving day of the year with my Stealth2 HD the day before I picked up my new driver. But I am looking for how my Qi10 Max performs on my less than stellar driving days. To be continued.
