What Have You Bought Lately? (CHA - Club Ho's Anonymous)

Needed to fill a gap and wanted to replace the oldest club in my bag; a TaylorMade Rescue Mid Hybrid 3.

Went up to GG and got a few different options until I settled in this fella right here.



Trackman says I'm faster than Rapsodo... I hate that. But this gaps really well unless I catch it TOO good. Then the dang thing rivals my 3 wood.

Will replace the grip to match the rest of the bag tomorrow but testing has gone well.

Only the putter is hanging on from the start of last season.

Just got a bunch of athletic wear from Fabletics. I was unsure of the quality but they had a really good deal going on (2 for 2 deals, 70% off etc.) who knows how much of that is marketing and price markups. They have a subscription model, so I had to be sure to cancel that right away after my stuff shipped, but I think it ended up being a steal. The quality of everything is good, and it’s all very comfortable.

I would say Lululemon’s still a step up, but this is much better than I was even expecting and what I got for $200 is easily at least 4x what I could have gotten at Lulu’s. It was well worth it to replenish my athletic wear.

I would say definitely check it out *but* don’t forget to cancel the VIP subscription unless that’s your intention.

In my golf sim league I was actually slower ss on Trackman vs my Rapsodo MLM in the garage, but seemed to hit it further generally. It did take sea level etc. into play which was probably part of the discrepancy, but wouldn’t affect ss

So I stand corrected,  spoke to him this morning, the 10i, and W club is from a Mizuno set that was blended in. My apologies for misleading.

Yup that sounds about right. See, on the YouTube video I watched they mentioned that Daly was mad that they were making fairways narrower so he couldn't use his driver, this was the substitute. In the video, some of the guys do, ok? Lol but I kind of want it as wall decor.

As I begin my Otto Phlex journey, I grabbed a Gen5 driver with the hero discount with a good shaft option for the OP. I really like the weight system to both set up the trajectory bias but also adjust for swing weight. I picked up a couple adapters and weights from eBay to help the OP journey as well.

I love my Alphacats and would be all over these if they had the disc closure option...but they don't right now.

Came across an uncommon Putter Head find. Sizemore SB-2

Was able to get for under $40 shipped as it was trimmed to 27" for a child. I just pulled that installed a new shaft.  Im a big fan of this putter. Beautiful milling, soft feel and Obscure.

Sizemore putters are nice and have great feel.  I had one in the mid 2000s.

 Colorado Golf Expo was great! Lots of good venders! Almost bought a Pyramid Putter. Thanks Ilaine! You’re the best wife! I’m spoiled! MyGolf Spy was there yesterday so wasn’t able to see them, or New Level Golf Co. I was hoping they’d be there. ParHopper Golf Apparel was awesome! We bought appeal from them. So was Sauce Golf Co! They have a 3-in-1 towel we bought. Check them out. Pins and Aces Golf Co. was superb! Bought a head cover and stand bag for traveling. Chuco Golf had some great apparel and we spent some time there! Bought some shirts. Kaddie Daddie has a training stand that holds three clubs, a beverage, and cigar. Great for when you have a cart bag and want to just take a few clubs to the practice area. Can’t wait till next year! Happy Birdie Hunting!

I need to replace my hybrids but threw in my old 4 wood back in the bag. It’s the titleist pro trajectory and it’s old but so dependable.

I got a king tec 5 hybrid this week. My first hybrid. So far I really hit it well. I’ll probably get a 4 sometime also

Good choice - I have a 5H as well and its become one of my favorite clubs due to its ease of hitting and versatility (excellent for those get out of jail punches)!

The shoes are great. Pins and Aces make some cool stuff other than bags, but I think I got lucky with this one.
