Couldn't find the "Arthritis" thread - ha, I guess that's rant #1! - but have had to change my grip recently from interlock to overlap due to an uncooperative last finger (on the right hand, as a righty).

Well maybe it'll work out for the better!

So I usually keep a jug of creamer in the fridge at work. In fact I had a new unopened one here last Friday. Came in this morning to an empty jug of said creamer. Messed with my morning routine.... don't think I've been in such a great mood. Can't wait for the next shift to start so I can track down the creamer jacker.

Fewer things are more aggrevating than the continued total ineptness of Boston mass transit. How they can take something so simple as people moving and screw it up so badly on a nearly daily basis is beyond comprehension...

The fact that they charge multiple hundreds of dollars per month for such crappy service is like a kick in the balls..

For me, its not so much that I am losing interest in golf, but rather that I should stop making advanced plans to play golf.   Due to my health problems, it is difficult for me to do a lot of walking on the course.   Given free use of a golf cart, I am fine playing 18 holes on any given day.   I have long since stopped my participation in outings or trips that schedule more than one round on any given day.   But given the amount of rain lately, I show up only to find that play is cart path only.   By the middle of the back nine, I am struggling and my play shows it.   I totally understand the need for cart path only and its not the fault of the course that I have a health problem.  It just means that this may be my last year for participation in my senior associations and will limit my play to casual rounds with understanding friends or going to the course as a single.

Not so much a rant as it is being a little sad.  I played with my guys at the club on Monday, and we are playing again in two hours today.  We are all about the same skill level. but the oldest guy (76) is having a difficult time keeping up with us.  Seems like this year he has been walking slower than last year, which wasn't too speedy anyway.  He is a straight hitter, but also the shortest among us.  On Monday he told me, and only me, that he is thinking about maybe moving up to the senior tees.  I think it would be a good move, and I also think that he has been sticking with us at the Men's tees a little too long just because he's stubborn.  I know I am.  Moving up to the senior tees doesn't really make much difference on most holes; a couple of longer par 4's and most par 3's would mean easier shots.  I'm not sure how the other guys will respond, but I'm going to suggest we play from the Senior tees today just to see how much difference it makes in his game.

Update: We didn't play from the Senior tees today because the guys only wanted to play nine holes. However, we will do it next week.

Since we only played nine holes, I used today to play the Hard Rock Challenge. See that thread for results.
