Golf Shot Tracer

Has anyone tried this golf shot tracing app? Would be a good tool to use along with maybe one of the less expensive launch monitors. I know it's $7 and I'm wondering if anyone here has used it.

I have it on my phone but haven't used it. There was a review of another one around July of last year that was supposed to be better than this one.

I bought it.  Tried using it once and it worked ok.  I was by myself so didn't have my phone in the ideal spot.  It would be much easier with a 2nd person to film from the correct angle or some sort of tripod or phone mount.

 

For me it's more something to make a cool little video than any sort of teaching tool.  I can already see the ball flight with my eye so I don't really need an app to tell me what it did.

It's funny that this comes up because I was thinking about taking the Gotta Golf updates for a test against this lie angle verification I'm working on.

 

 

Edit: My phone crashed then the battery died from 40% just as I was getting going. Guess this will have to wait till next week.
