DT TruSoft

Recommended Posts

So, I am only 25 years old and I've been only seriously playing golf for about a year now.  Consistently shoot anywhere around 87-97 for the most part. Probably land on the slow side of swing speed for sure.  I've been playing DT TruSoft balls for the most part because they are a decent value and they perform well enough to my standards.

In light of the new golf ball test results that have just been released, is this the TruSoft an appropriate ball for me to play or could I get a better performing ball by switching to something else???

I am most certainly not interested in dropping 35 plus dollars on a dozen new ball that I am most certainly going to lose in 2 rounds.

Thanks guys

It's a good ball at that price point especially if you don't want to pay in the $30-$40 range for a dozen. You can get some of the higher performing balls used in mint condition on eBay for the same price as the TruSoft balls. I've bought high end balls that performed just as well as brand new balls. Main thing is don't switch just because someone tells you to unless you get a ball fitting done.

If you can find time watch the live show:

If you can't find time to watch the video, just check out the Kirkland K3 at about $1/ball.
