Good thing cause he looked awfully loose out there today . What really surprised me is that at least one or two other players didn't get closer; -5 or -6. The course and conditions really seems to have throttled the field. One would get on a short run, then whop, Mother Augusta dashed their mojo. It's crazy how players go on these relatively short out-of-body runs. I say relatively as compared to Tigers decade long reign on the field (which some argue has much to do with the field at that time... but I digress). Scotty is just flat out feeling it and has been leading into his being selected for the Ryder Cup and that, IMO, has catapulted his paly and confidence. These runs don't last as long these days because the degree of separation between the bulk of the field is so small. It's actually what makes watching the tour so fun for me. I love that just about any of them can win or make a serious run at it every Sunday. 1 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)
Shankster 33,051
Still can’t believe Tiger is even playing, let alone playing pretty darned well… Scottie is on a roll. Another day like today and he will be in great shape come Sunday afternoon.

Muckinfiddle 141
Honestly if I was tiger woods, after the first round I would have been saying to myself: "I can't believe I've got three more days of this bullshit." I have to say that it is impressive that he's still out there hoofin' it. I walked the course for the first time since last fall and my shins and my toes hurt from being jammed up against my golf shoes from walking 18 holes, that it would have been hard to talk me into playing another round the next day let alone walking it. I'm grateful for the Masters coverage on it and glad that they appreciate his draw enough to keep the cameras on him instead of trying to act like they are greater than thou and not film him everyday. I've got live broadcast on that and switch around between the "featured groups" and other various hole coverages on my laptop. I'm a busted record here guys but no one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, does it like Augusta. With the exception of the live broadcast, no commercials! And what a difference in patrons between this and WM... calm and serene vs. chaos and deafening. Have you ever checked out the shot by shot coverage they have of each player, for each round? Whoever created and manages that website deserves a raise . 4 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)

fixyurdivot 17,469
I have to think the Augusta staff isn't too thrilled with Kisner treating the grounds like a spittoon . fixyurdivot 17,469
Some of these pin placements are bonkers. Fantastic shots that just miss a slope by a whisker end up rolling 2x further from the hole than the divot...brutal. There aren't too many courses I play that bring that level of complexity... but then again, anything on the green in regulation is my target . 1 2 Quote G410 Plus, 9 Degree Driver G400 SFT, 16 Degree 3w G400 SFT, 19 Degree 5w ZX5 Irons 4-AW Glide 2.0 56 Degree SW (removed from double secret probation ) ER5v Putter (Evnroll ER5v Official Review)
