Work activities and meeting with a potential swing coach.  Also taking my new build to a course down the road to see if they will let me utilize the swing weight scale so I can order tip weights.

Good morning spies! Chilly and cloudy with a chance of rain, so I’ve got the fire started and the coffee brewing. Fiancés first patient cancelled so we are going to make some omelets to start off this day! Work at noon yet again, hope it’s a fantastic day for everyone!

Good morning everyone. Cold spell has finally landed and a dusting of snow greets me and my cup of coffee. No golf in my near future.
Came home last night after work and my son tells me he broke his driver at practice. I’m expecting to see something like @GolfSpy_BEN did with his Qi but alas, it was just rattling inside. Called PXG and it sounds like they might replace it. Should find out today. Bought it two years ago (Gen 2) so I’ll be curious to see what they send as a replacement.

It's another rainy morning here in Sunny Chicagoland, but you can feel the temps not biting down as hard, we are getting closer. Besides, the swing can use some more work, so to the sim we go! Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning MGS troops. Got to get my poop in a group for the spousal unit. Dr said it’s super early, probably the earliest they can detect it. So now we have to make arrangements with specialists and surgeons. G*D has a plan for us all. Have a blessed day and happy birdie hunting!

@RockerFCC just wondering how your SIM business facility is doing?

Hopefully you have a lot of people in an utilizing it.

More curious than anything, and I will be in that area mid summer and may stop in.

Gonna be a slow day here -- quick trip to the dentist (filling repair), raining until tonight so some reading this morning and some bowling this afternoon.  Maybe back on the course by Thursday.

Woke up with a bad cold, so hitting the English Breakfast tea and some honey to mellow out the throat! This damned weather: 70's to 30's... and I catch a damned cold. Guess I'm taking the day off from golf: do some stretching and yoga work instead today. Hope everyone is well! Hit 'em straight!

I am hopefully done with all the things I need to do in order to start receiving the rest of my dads pension. That has been a headaches in itself. Now I just have to call the people today to make sure they got that paperwork. Probably the worst experience in trying to figure this stuff out. I did go to the range afterwards to just practice and get away from the world for a few. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all and happy Tuesday! Rained throughout the night and into the morning here so snow is essentially gone and we badly need the rain. Was in to work at 5:45 this morning so calling it a day at 3 and that doesn’t hurt my feelings one bit.

@Wheelieb that does not sound like an enjoyable process whatsoever. I hope everything gets figured out and resolved so that you can get it behind you.

Good Morning Spies!

After a rainy day today, woke up to chilly temps in the mid 30's this morning.  But it is supposed to get up into the 70's for the Easter weekend, which we have a basketball tournament all day Saturday for my youngest.  At least the weather will be nice.

I just made it back from the dermatologist and according to him, it's it looks like Actinic keratosis. It's a scaly bump caused by if UV exposure and can turn cancerous in certain situations. 

They numbed the spot and removed it to send off for a biopsy and I should know in a week or two what the results are. 

For now, I have to keep it bandaged and put Vaseline on it.

I’m with you! I have yet to remove the snow marking stakes! I only thought about removing them and we got 4 inches of the white stuff!

Looking into some other potential options that could help be a barrier from them entering the yard.

Prayers for a full and speedy recovery My wife was a mammographer for many years. Early detection is so good for good outcomes.

Good morning you beautiful golf obsessed community, I hope y'all have a wonderful day and beautiful weather. My daughter has picked out her favorite toy, any guesses?? no.... ok I'll tell you because its freaking awesome. She loves playing with golf balls while waiting for daycare to open up. She absolutely loses it if she gets in the car with out one golf ball and her stuff bunny.  Can't wait til she is old enough to get on the course and play with me.

Good Morning good people!!

Feeling my age this morning, as in plenty of sore muscles - friend calls yesterday, I'm 6 minutes from your house .. picks me up up and we go for an approx 8 mile hike in a big, really nice state park just a few miles away.

Good steady workout pace the whole way .. in the cold and blowing wind .. lotta up and down and a big stretch was narrow single track trail thru the woods and along the bluffs by the water so some nice views.

Nature highlight was running across not two that we spotted at first but THREE adult Bald Eagles that took off from trees right above us!! It was interesting to see three together .. and yes they are huge, and yes they are fantastic to see in flight!

So no heavy lifting today .. acupuncture in a little while, then need to restock the beer fridge, and maybe some putting practice later. Who doesn't need more putting practice, amiright?

Well also thinking positive thoughts for too many Spies and MyGolfSpouses with health issues .........

Hope everyone, despite The Big C and the little ticks and everything bad in-between, can manage to have a Terrific Tuesday!!!

Good morning Spies,

It appears to be another Springish day in CNY. We hit the 50s yesterday and the snow is slowly disappearing which makes my morning cuppa all the better. I ordered my Black Ops driver yesterday! Between it and the warming weather, I’m getting excited for golf season to begin. Last year my home course opened in April but the year before it was in March. 

SWMBO is volunteering at the SPCA today. We may be fostering another dog. Maisie is a dog who is stressing a bit so my wife will see if she is a foster candidate. So we’ll know later this morning if we will be “Driving Miss Maisie”.

Good Tuesday morning, golfers!  

 

Another windy and cold day in the Ozarks but we have warmer temps on the way.  This is spring break week for our schools, so I am hoping to play with my grandson tomorrow.  Hudson is a freshman basketball player and decided to go out for the golf team instead of running track.  He shot a 52 in his first JV meet this past week and called to ask if we could play golf together.

Thank you! I still feel like a slacker. So I work out 20 minutes three times a week and walk on the treadmill occasionally. Big deal. I used to run 70+ miles a week in serious marathon training, which was a minimum of 10 hours a week, usually more. I never had a long streak of running every day, because I would take a day off every week or so, but it was a bad week if I only ran five days. But when the motivation stopped to continue that, it came to a screeching halt.

Due for another workout today, but first it's time to take my three-legged cat to the vet (hit by a car as a kitten, opted for amputation instead of euthanasia, and here we are 12 years later). Nothing serious, just time for the annual shots.

Good morning Spies, and happy Second Monday!

Bit of a miserable day here with 50* temp but rain and wind. Power flipped last night sometime. I didn't look at the clock when it happened, but it was mid-sleep cycle that woke me up. I'll have to see what needs resetting. Rain scheduled to stop around 4pm or so and then the rest of week should be dry and nice, with 70* on Sat & Sun. Then rain again on Monday evening. I guess spring and it's wet weather is here.

Got through most all my taxes last night with my dad sitting co-pilot. He's checking on some donation details before I wrap them up and submit them. Next year should be much easier, with TN not having state income tax we don't have to submit a state return. I had to do a partial year for AZ this time around since I moved in June. So that complicated things a little more than usual. But, they're pretty much done which is good.

Nothing special to bring up at the moment. Just listening to the rain while working. Time for some breakfast. Have a great day all!

still kind of buzzing... can't believe I joined a golf club yesterday, just a "social" member but even so. never thought this would happen.

hoping mother nature blesses us with great weather to enjoy the season. 

congrats to the new batch of testers! exciting to see so many tests happening this year.

Hey @David Leighton Reid I’m heading there this Saturday with my family on vacay. I was thinking on taking my golf clubs with me and try to play one day. What is a good course?
