To tell the truth… well, my version of the truth; I am still confused to what happened. I was playing the back nine on late Tuesday and playing well. I was finally, sorta acclimated to hitting out of that green stuff all over the fairways. I was even having a go at causing those divot thingees. Well anyhow, as I was leaving the 18th green heading over to turn in my empty sand bottles ( as  I had been busy filling in those divot thingees after making them )  I was feeling pretty proud of myself  having just broken 90 for the first time in Florida in this decade, when I  was approached by a couple of official looking individuals. I was informed that I was being deported back to Texas for hitting too many golf balls into navigational canals. Seems that you can hit all the golf balls that you want into the ocean, as artificial reefs are a thing in Florida, but canals are a different story. I was accused of causing a bottleneck in a canal from all the golf balls that I had deposited there, so I had to go. I tried to make the best of the situation by asking if the wife person could stay in Florida while I was escorted back to Texas. I am worried one of the officers may have ruptured himself from laughing so hard at my request. So, there you have it, deported and still shackled to she who rules. Can not really blame Florida as the sunshine state is probably a little brighter with the scourge of Texas and myself no longer there. The good news is as a first time offender, I am on probation and can go back to Florida in the near future.

Good morning everyone!

After a couple of mornings that were below freezing, it's a bit warmer here with the temps sitting right at freezing. I was just happy to have slept solidly until my alarm went off. 

It's community call day and I'm looking forward to the guest speaker this evening. It should be a great time.

Good morning Spies from a cool and cloudy Michigan. Pretty hectic and busy work week, so time has been flying bye, even with putting in long hours.

Best part of the workday for me today will be the Community Call.

Good morning all!

Today is my wife's birthday. Presents came a bit early this year due to some big sales, but still did some crafts and sentimental gifts with the kids last night that I hope she will like. Will do some Thai food as her favorite tonight, and I made my famous chocolate chip cookies last night, it is even related to how we met. Should be a nice day, as long as that sickness she felt last night didn't kick into gear.

Good morning and a happy Thursday spies on this final day of November. Starting off at 36° with a slight warmup to 44° to help what little snow is left to melt away. Last day of the month means busy day at work which usually translates to the day going by quickly. Hopefully that is what happens because yesterday was a bit of a drag, seemed like the day just wouldn’t end.

Hope that your wife feels better and gets to enjoy her birthday @ejgaudette. Chocolate chip cookies sound so good!

Good Morning All, 

Back into the 50’s this afternoon. It’s as if Mother Nature knows i have a driver shaft to test out and wants me to be happy

Good morning MGSpies from it's still white outside but melting and not going to be snowy again for days and days WNY on this Community Call Thursday  hot coffee about to be decanted from the maker as work computer is sorting itself out for the network connection on this zero commute workday.  Good to see @Dead Solid Bogey has survived the ordeal in FL though suspect conservationists probably stepped in at some level to reduce stress on the alligator wildlife for what  would perceived as future offspring loose in waterways in great numbers.  @ejgaudette had our boiler replaced 17 years ago and comparatively if hot water heaters are a good price then that should be a good price for that stalwart of winter comfort.  Hope to see as many as possible this afternoon  and hope golf is a part of your day!

Good morning, everyone. Another cold wake up confirms winter is here to stay. We’ve been getting highs up near 50 the last couple of days though so maybe weekend golf isn’t completely out of the question.  The pour over is almost done and the daily life juice will soon be in hand. Hoping to get lucky and join at least part of the community call today but will have to see what my fortune has in store. Really need a break from all these coaching duties. Morning spies...

It is currently 33⁰ out. Nothing Would make me happier than to be able to go out and play a round today. however I can't. The wife has extended the honeydew list. And now I have to drag all of the boxes out of the back Shed that have all of her xmaa nicknckses and christmas giggity giggies out there.

I may go to the local golf+ shop and check out a few things they have for a post bf clearance sale.

The Xmas inflatables debacle crisis has been averted, and will not have to rearrange them a third time! Yippee

Morning Spies! I am actually posting early for a change . I am up early with the magical bean juice of life and preparing for the day.

Late yesterday I stumbled upon a new golf simulator location downtown the road from me. Looks great and slightly cheaper. Can’t wait to try it out.

Ahhhh, Texas. Good to be back home. Florida was filled with fabulous people, in general just wonderful and exciting State. Would have liked a better exit plan. That said, In keeping with what I have learned and embraced from Y’all on this forum, I just stayed with my mantra to have “fun” with golf and to heck with the score. 
   Next on the agenda is to make fast and good use of the “At-ya Boy” husband  points earned by taking the wife person on the trip. Plan on combining those points with a huge, huge bribe ( ultra early Christmas gift ) to insure my freedom for more than one of the MGS meet up’s… Just please, please,  by all that is holy….NO meet up on April 27th thur the 29th. 
   Have to do semi adult things around the royal’s domain today. Hoping for golf all weekend long. Through the grapevine hearing that there is some grumbling from some of my irons about wanting to play fairways that actually have grass on them all the time. Plan on nipping any kind of job action by the irons in the bud, by putting all of my new “Edison Enforcers” in the bag full time. 
  May this Thursday bring peace and joy to you all. @ejgaudette, hope your lady  is well and has a magnificently marvelous birthday..

Another chilly one here but clear and calm. No golf for me, though, still resting the wrists and back; headed over to the Chiro in a little bit for another 'plz fix me doc' session.

I see this afternoon's community call includes Dr. Sasho Mackenzie - should be really interesting and I think I can actually make that call today - but besides speed training one of the other golf things he's worked on is heads up putting .. ie looking at your target .. which I do in practice.

Have a good one all, and maybe I can connect with a few of you later on the call!!

Good morning! Beautiful sunrise this cool morning in Southern MI. Busy day of meetings and follow ups at work. I do have a meeting scheduled during the community call, but I'm hoping it gets cut short so I can hop on the call for a bit. 

@snoopy79, I found a simulator about 5 minutes from my house and I was so excited! I checked it out yesterday and did numbers testing on the Titleist White Box balls. The only issue I had was that the spin was not picking up. Otherwise it was a nice little place! Hopefully yours works out for you!

Thank you… While the most important thing about this forum is having made numerous golf friends; I have gotten so much more. The information on golf strategies, equipment, and philosophy has been a major boon. The added bonus of life hacks in dealing with the “ Wife of Woe “ has been phenomenally useful.

Good morning Spies.No golf today as I had pulled out of Member/ Member due to procedure that didn't happen.A confluence of circumstances the Eastwood succinctly describes in Heatbreak Ridge as a "Cluster F***. Seems cardiologist wouldn't clear me for same procedure he preformed 3 months ago and human error at surgical office when no one informed me. Human error is understandable. By some magic of celestial clarity I have been cleared and have an appointment with surgeon tomorrow. Presumably cardiologist was in CYA mode. Glad these people were not in charge when I was in SE Asia in 69. As Mr Ruiz says "don't take it personal" and "make no assumptions ". Interested in how Eldrick plays today. Should be a good watch.              Happy Thursday. Seize the day.

You do realize that boats use those canals. They're not like ball pickers on the range - you're not supposed to try and hit them.

It's currently 57* (at 8:00 am) in Florida - you can tell that temp by looking at all the Floridians wearing parkas, wool caps and mittens. It'll be 75* by early afternoon.

We have some time thankfully but the system is getting a bit older so we wanted to prepare ourselves and see how much they are. It will be more efficient whenever we do it and mounted on the wall. If the person that redid the house wanted to they could have done a combo as they already but in a new tankless hot water heater and they sell dual units that do both, but no such luck.
