Good morning on a hard frost still air Western NY Thursday  one more to go this week.  Can't take early military training mindset away, "just today and a wake-up" which is a clever way to dismiss an entire day tomorrow since the end of it does start the weekend, just one more way we learned to "embrace the suck". 

So Thursday, working from home, moving under my own initiative, with a good hot mug of coffee  and more in the thermos to keep me going, so this my friends is a long way from suck

Morning everyone. At 6am my phone dinged with a text message .  It kind of starts your day off poorly since my get up and go is 6:45. Those 45 minutes are precious sleep minutes. So now I'm annoyed until I read the message. My reel mower for the golf green is out for delivery. An about face on my mood in 5 seconds .  Now to show my wife it is for the pool area because my zero turn won't fit through the gates.

GM everyone - just took the puppy out - it was a chilly 67*. Wife and I have a 1:00 tee time, supposed to be in the high 70's, boring sunshine/no clouds. Time for a second cup.

Good morning all. Today is my Friday as we took tomorrow off for a long weekend since our oldest doesn't have school. Going to head to my in-laws cabin about an hour north of where we live to get out of town for the weekend. Boys are excited because grandma and grandpa have an old Ninentdo Wii up there and they like the bowling game on there and of course the golf game. Hoping to get a good fish fry tomorrow night and then see where the rest of the weekend takes us!

A sunny morning here on a day that was supposed to be garbage. Lots going on so keeping good and busy and although we are disappointed to know as we wanted baby 2 to be a surprise the doctor sadly let it slip and we will have a little baby girl joining our family in June.

GM everyone... Early this week our course turned on the irrigation system to test out the lines.  When my wife played yesterday morning, there was a 2 hour "ice delay" because they forgot to turn the sprinklers off the night before.    I hope they turned them off yesterday because it's 27º this morning, but this may be the last morning of sub-32º temps for the next 10 days.  woo hoo!!

I still need to get my garden patch worked up today; rain coming tonight.

Love them.  Gnocchi are great when done well. I like making fresh ricotta sweet potato with browned sage butter and prosciutto.
