Good Morning Spies 

It's a 62° cool morning, brilliant blue skies with lots of sun. No golf planned but that can always change!  Not sure what the hubby has planned. 

I do need to prep my dinning room so I can repaint the ceiling and walls. But gotta pull out the scaffolding for both.  Been putting it off because of that.  Maybe today's the day but I do hear my clubs crying in the basement.  They're saying I ignored them yesterday !

Enjoy them!  They are at an interesting age.

Newborns are my favorites. Just like us elderly curmudgeons, they have NO social filters, except they have a lot more energy to express those non-filtered behaviors.

Good Sunday morning fellow spies! Had a great day yesterday up at the lake and will be heading home late morning most likely. Hoping to get a round in before the kids come back from my parents house but if not, no big deal. Weather looks great today so should be another good day.

Like much of the country, we have rain and storms in the forecast. So no golf today, but that’s okay because the porch has a roof and the coffee is delicious.

Good morning all, 

I am camping in my 1988 ford econoline 24 foot motorhome at Rathtrevour Beach in Parksville on Vancouver Island, the motorhome was bought by my inlaws and my wife and I have had it for about 10 years, it only has 42,000 miles on a 360 ford motor so runs great but there is always something to "do" on it, but I enjoy being in it, my stress level goes down about 30% when I walk in the old beast.

I have done a couple of “fix it” projects, finally got the table to quit wiggling, checked to see which battery starts the motorhome so i can charge that battery with the solar panel and run a couple of small fans off it inside, as it gets pretty hot in here, going to fix a couple of cupboards today I Think. otherwise good, we have been able to listed to the Toronto blue jays on radio so that is fun, great game last night, going to listen at 1030 am PST today, Parksville beach is fantastic, swimming at night when the tide comes in is as warm as a swimming pool. 

A couple of more days of this then straight to the range and course to get prepped for the National Senior championship.

sprinkles this morning and golf later morning. 
had an unplanned round yesterday which was nice to get out. -2 after 4, +6 at the turn. 
Bad decisions and club selection with a couple pulled shots. Ended up shooting 90 which I am ok with considering I haven’t played in a couple weeks. 
 

hopefully more good shots today.

Morn all!

Out this weekend at friends’ 60th birthday celebration in Sweden.

Surrounded by quaint scenery of the Swedish woods and summer homes.

Someone told me that back in the day the ground was pretty hard (frozen, I think), so it’s not surprising to find structures with improvised foundations above ground.

Some newer structures look more like modern hobbit cabins.

It’s been mostly rain, and expecting even more. We’ll see if the week can offer up a little golf.

Update:

My clubs are now crying from neglect - 2 days without getting out of the basement.  Hubby is pressure washing the house and cleaning outside windows.  Somehow it makes the inside of the windows need cleaning too!  Got the windex and towels out making them shine!  Ugh - I love lots of big windows and I'm paying the price for them now!

Hope everyone that's golfing makes a good swing for me!  If you have a bad swing you can blame me too! My clubs will laugh about that.

Hey spies. Late to the thread today. Nothing going on today, just chilling for the most part. Raining outside so working on some putting and iron/wedge swing stuff while watching golf on tv.

The clouds this morning were only a tease. Sun has been out since just before lunch and it turned into a beautiful day. Alas, it would have been a good day to play after all.

My SWMBO’s favorite mlb player is one of her former students, Bo Bichette - really nice kid. He makes it look easy, but he’s worked really hard to earn his success.

Private Christian school in Maitland, Fl just outside of Orlando.  His brother Dante Jr. too along with Tomas Nido (Mets catcher he but struggled this year and sent down to AAA).  Dante and Tomas through HS, but younger Bo and his family moved to Tampa for his HS years.  Dante Jr was a first round draft pick by the Yankees but struggled most years - made it to AA Trenton before being released.

Good morning and happy Monday spies. I’m still filling in for a coworker this week which means getting up at 4AM. Still adjusting to that slightly earlier rise but enjoying getting off work at 1:30.

50/50 chance of rain when I get off today so I’ll take clubs with me just in case.

Morning!

Hanging with poochie on a bit of a grey and cooler day; got a little light rain overnight.

Another PT session for the shoulder coming up .. which seems to be getting better, as in it doesn't hurt that much (as originally expected I guess ) after playing 18 over the weekend.

Maybe a little -light- short game practice later? .. wedges were very disappointing during that round, and lag putting always need more work, too, right?

Good morning Spies from a cool, cloudy back to work Monday here. Rained most of the day and evening hours yesterday, and more in the forecast for today. No golf until maybe mid week range time here.

Best wishes for @sirchunksalot and his wife, as I recall her surgery is scheduled for today. 

Make your day the best it possibly can be, and here's hoping that all that starts well, ends well.

Good morning everyone, happy to be back after 2 weeks of vacation and seeing that there were 29 pages on this thread I am going to say I opted out of reading all that so I hope everyone had a good last two weeks. The vacation started off rough, went camping and the place we booked turned out to be loaded with standing water (ie mosquitos), and only 1 of the 3 baths listed actually being open and even at that is was lacking ventilation, and the playground had not been cleaned including a board with rusty nails, no one was happy. We luckily got a full refund and booked a place relatively close by that is very nice.

Once there we get settled in and jump in the pool and everyone was smiling, so we thought we were good. The next day was nice everyone enjoyed themself with swimming, playgrounds, and bike rides. On the next day we we going ok, but need to run out for a few things. Here some meltdowns started for the kids which is normal and a couple small showers came in and our tent was not covered at the time so we split up. My son and I grabbed some ice and food and halfway back to the site he throws up in the car. I think it might be the food (you know a few too many smores). Unfortunately it continues when we return to the site and next thing we know it is coming out both end in our tent (we have a travel potty).

We decide we have to go home this is not ending soon and being stuck in a tent like that would be miserable. So we pack up, try to explain to the kids on the next site that only speak French but have enjoyed playing with out kids, that we are leaving at 5 pm after arriving in a whirlwind just a couple days before. We dive back with my son dry heaving countless times on the way home. We get home get everyone to bed. And then at the end of the next day I start to feel sick and sure enough it is my turn, next day I am feeling ok but my two girls get the bug, and finally the next day it is my wifes turn. So that was basically the first week of my vacation. Second week was planned staycation which went fine. Hope everyone else's vacations this year went better, looks like @Lacassems was better for sure.

Most of the player are Bacon Boyz so conversation will be very lively!

Good morning MGSpies from rainy WNY early this Monday and forecast is for it to last the day.   Hot coffee too hot just yet while computers are coming online for the no-commute workday.  Electrician coming in to solve ceiling light inop condition. Golf is Forum today and have the family Walh Bros Band open mic this evening, with so much playing recently going it with no rehearsal  hope golf is a part of your day

Morn all!

While driving the car in for service, I passed an empty parking lot for the golf course.  If it were only raining folks would be out playing, but the winds of autumn have come early, and there just aren’t any diehards about.

Best outlook for golf is Thursday by the earliest. 

This weather is either the best or worst thing that could happen to our budding apple trees. I could swear one of them is looking happy in the weather.

Good morning all! Rainy day here in Iowa this morning. Getting ready to head into my classroom to get some things set up for the upcoming school year. After that, can maybe sneak onto the range for a bit to work on my game. 

Have been using the LagShot clubs and have really liked them. Planning to write up a review soon to go over everything about the clubs. Definitely have seen some improvement already!

Good morning everyone. Can’t say they one cup of coffee is going to be enough but not sure there is going to be enough to make the first day back to work go smoothly. First time waking up before 6am since the end of May is hitting hard after completing 5 rounds in the last four days. Hope everyone had a great weekend and hope everyone’s first day of the work week goes smoother than mine.
