I should add that what the course I played today lacks in length, it makes up for in size of greens. One of the greens is at most 24’ x 16’ and that’s generous. I’ve never hit it in regulation. Another one on a 205 yard Par 3 isn’t much bigger. If you’re not deadly accurate on approach you are trying to save Par with a one putt on multiple holes. It’s a fun little muni!

I literally saved par on three consecutive holes after missing three consecutive greens lol. I just so happened to get lucky with chipping my 56°. I am the opposite of deadly accurate

... Oh yea much better! 22.6 index with an easy up and down 3 holes in a row.     Save it for your 6'4" 250lb cell mate that thinks cheeseheads are cute. I have one word and two numbers as evidence when you are tried in Public Court before hearing "Your Honor, the jury unanimously finds JNoble Guilty of Sandbagging in the First Degree":     NET 6 0

Play one round with me and I promise you’ll learn I am not, in fact, sand bagging. Lol. At least not intentionally. I won’t apologize for playing better than my current handicap as it means I’m improving

p.s. There’s no such thing as an easy up and down for me. I bladed a chip that was 3’ off across the green on my last hole . Definitely should have just putted

... That's one of my favorite acting scenes. When an actor gets to act as a character it is two times as much fun. I got to do it only once playing a Texas Ranger accent and all y'all and the actor playing the role in Cupid starring Jeremy Piven as Cupid and it was a blast.

... And joking aside I have no doubt you will reach a 12 index. This was just the beginning.

Thought I would post a photo of my index as the season has gone this year. While sitting currently at a 21.6 isn’t something to brag about, the relative improvement I’ve made to this point is large, and I do think the process of getting custom fitted clubs with this challenge has helped a lot. Still not under 20 yet though, @chisag  hopefully soon!

... Dropping 8.4 strokes in 3 months is pretty amazing. I'm sure the new clubs play a big role but so does the guy swinging them. I think with the right clubs fitted to your swing, plenty of practice and a good mental attitude, it is pretty easy to drop from 30 to 20. The next drop from 20 to 10 takes even more dedication and of course 10 to 0 is a lifelong commitment. But you are on your way and I tip my huge sunhat to you!

First time I've felt like my pre-injury self in a long time. Started out really strong. Found out I'm going back to The Masters at the turn, don't know if that's what derailed me or fatigue, but two doubles on the back killed me. This is my home course and sets up well for this 4 club challenge, but either way it felt good to play well again. Hope I was worthy to be your partner @CFreddie! Course handicap was 8, not sure where we fall but I gave it my best!

Great round and I'm glad you were able to get out to play and play at your pre injury level. That's a good looking course! About to Google it since it's fairly close to here.

Just looked up the course there in Ellijay and 15, 16, and 18 look like a tough stretch of closing holes. Lots of water.

Today I was going to try to improve my 4-club round, but something has happened in the "nuts" house .

My daughter started working in the pro shop at the course when the challenge started, and last night she said "Dad are you going golfing tomorrow morning" I said yes. Then she asked if she could come, and she wanted to play 18 holes with me. So, in a whirl wind out to the garage we went to set her up on the simulator. Getting her distances with clubs and swing plane in check. I wasn't expecting much as I don't know that she ever played 18 holes before. 6:45 am she was up and ready to go. I will say, she impressed the snot out of me. First hole she was just right of the fairway in some pine straw and only 30 yards from the green. She insisted hitting from where it was. Boom, between the trees and 2 yards off the green, chipped up and two putted for bogey. Second hole a par 3 she hit 8 iron just short of the green and into the bunker. Took out a 58* and hit a beautiful sand shot to within 3 feet. Left the putt short for another bogey. Next up was a par 5. I hit a good tee shot and then she blistered one straight as an arrow 30 yards past me. I know her tee box is further up, but this was a bomb. She parred the 6th hole with a 30-foot putt. I'll skip the play by play, for the rest of the round but it seems there is a new "Nut" in the house. She wants to play the mixed twilight league with me as her partner.  

Just crazy how things turn out sometimes. It started from me asking her to come and count strokes for me for the challenge, to getting a job working in the pro shop, and now getting hooked on golf and wanting to play with me. Just such a special time in my life. She could have asked her brother who is only a year older golfs and works at the course on the grounds crew, but she wanted to play with me.  

Here is a short video of her swing with an 8 iron. Dead center on the grid, 145 yards out. Left arm nice and straight. Dam athletes. They make everything look so easy. We all know this isn't that easy.

15 and 17 never give me any issues, 16 and 18 are hit or miss. 10 is the worst hole in the history of golf, I saved the ball from my first birdie on that hole. Took me 12 years (!) to make that birdie.
