My driver is KILLING me....well, I mean....It IS the user, but still. I cannot get off the tee-box at all. I'm averaging like 175. Still working through my swing...but SOOOOO frustrating.

It was an ugly day out at the Bajamar Oceanfront and Golf Resort. The marine layer and the winds kept temperatures cool. The cool, moist air did nothing for my back. It never loosened up. Consequently, my miss was to the left as I couldn't develop any lag.

If there was a bunker around the hole, I found it. If my ball could run through the fairway and into the "desert", it did. If, by missing left, I would lose a ball and have to drop, I did. If water was in play...you guessed it. I found it.

An up and down day today but just about my average score. Got on a good roll with 6 pars (3 barely missed birds). Driver was working with only 2 bad drives. The irons hurt me later in the round contributing to the 3 doubles on 16-18. Putting is still an issue 22/16.

Winds in the teens early on, temps.in the mid-60s. Greens still have some.problem areas but held pretty well. Aside from the greens, the fairways and general course area are in really good condition. Hoping the warmer weather comes soon, and stays for a while LOL

Course rating 68.8, slope 127, par 71  Two birdies, 31 putts, longest drive 253 yards.

One of my best rounds of the year so far.  Lessons and dedicated practice working.  Short game on fire. The new L.A.B. DF3 putter is working very well.  Absolute money on 6-8 foot putts for par or bogey.  A little more fickle when it was a 8-10 foot putt for birdie.  i.e. when you want to make it the most.

@Cfhandyman Outstanding round, nice shooting. You got to love when it all comes together!

Decent stats and a good round overall. You played right at your C.H. Improvement in FIR/GIR, up/down from '23.  

I'm not sure what software you are using for the data and I cannot see what your Strokes Gained group comparison is set at; it seems strange that, as a 17 HCP you lost strokes in all areas to an equivalent HCP.  Are you set to compare to players <15?  I know Shot Scope allows setting in 5 point increments so you'd be in between 15/20 with that software.  While I say that seems strange, I am set at 4.5 so when I compare with the 0 HCP group I am up and down, when I compare with the 5 HCP group I am more up, but not in all stats.  

Anyway, very nice round and keep at it!

Uff da.....1 over going into 9.  Double.  Birdied 10.  -1 going into 13.  Double, Double 14.  Then I forget after that....I was hot.  Missed a par put on 18 for a 79.  Tomorrows another day....try to better this score.  Actually, no, I have a 4 person best shot tomorrow at my home course with 25-35 mph winds predicted.  That will be interesting.

Thanks Sub, I use Shot Scope and set the comps to 15 Hcp. I started out horrible as we played the back nine first, then did the same thing on the front nine. Luckily, I recovered and finished with Birdie, Par, Birdie.

My ankle has been bothering me for a while, so went to the doctor this afternoon. Fortunately, it’s probably peritoneal tendinitis and easily treated. Had some time, so decided to get in a quick Golf League nine holes.

I had another really good day. Shot a 40 with two penalty strokes, both on holes where a net birdie would have been available to me. Did make a natural birdie on this hole:

Had a great line and from the tee, it looked like it was a pin seeker. Alas, it was just a bit short:

Excellent use of the rest of my afternoon, even if my ankle is angry about it afterward.

Quite literally the best round of my life. Probably should've been closer to an 85, but hit some miracle putts and a couple balls were a few feet from being OB but managed to stay in. Played the same ball the entire round. 

Craziest part was I wasn't even supposed to play today — the weather forecast looked crummy, but cleared up for a few hours. I was hoping to get in 9 holes but managed to finish while dealing with some rain.

100% chance I shoot a 95 on Friday.

Thanks! Oh god that's the last thing I need...this round is a total outlier, which is why I posted it day-of instead of waiting until Sunday so I can finish my weekend rounds. There's just no chance I come close to this.
