Another inconsistent round.  Need to turn it around. 5 penalties,  just struggling off the tee! Beautifully course conditions.  Maybe I will start playing better on Sunday at the Casco Fiasco tournament.

Played Wednesday with my usual group on a picture-perfect weather day. Sunny skies, highs in the mid 70's and a light breeze to keep you comfortable.

Actually, a highlight for this round, was the fact that this was round number 20 this season using my MotoCaddy M7 trolley. It has performed flawlessly for me with it only needed a motor trimming one-time to keep it rolling straight.

Played "boring" golf as I try to eliminate any potential disasters before they may happen by playing conservative.

Had a 77, again using driver only on a few of the longer holes.

Hit 10 of 18 greens, 8 of 14 fairways, those missed were not far off, and only a couple of miscues led to bogies.

Not a bad round. The weather was nice when we teed off. Almost felt like fall. I missed a lot of birdie putts, bogeyed the easiest hole on the course.

Working on building an easier game today by not swinging above a smooth tempo for anything. Only took one larger swipe at the ball with driver and that was a water ball.  Scored better than I played on a very dewy course on a breezy morning.  Didn't hit a ton of fairways and greens but kept the ball better in play and putted well.

Extremely nice course.. Plays long and narrow! I had a blast until the rain and that didn't stop us either! From what I hear this course was frequently visited by Hal Sutton and Sam Burns

It was brutally hot (at least for us) coming in from 17 then up the hill at 18 felt like climbing Mt. Everest. We’re used to temps in the 70’s. Today it was over 90 and humid. Enough whining about the weather. The golf wasn’t great by any stretch. My partner and I tied at the end of the day, which was no consolation. The best part of the day was the cerveca at the end.

Had it rocking on number two. Birdie! Net Eagle! Whoo Hoo! The rest of the front nine was just the average bogey fest. The back nine started with a par, net birdie then a host of bogeys until the last couple of holes where I went par, par.

Pretty flawless round EXCEPT for 2 balls OB, which was probably the difference between being under par or not. Did make a ton of 5-10 footers!

Windy today...like 175 to a par 3 into the wind and hit a very solid 4I and watch it go straight for the flag and land 25 yards short kind of windy today. Had driver, 7I to a 540 yard par 5 downwind. But most holes were crosswinds and it was tough to judge.

Bad day period. The powers to be decided since we have a tournament coming up in 2 weeks to play it down in the rough. Now our course does not have a proper reel mower to do the roughs and they use a deck mower. Our roughs on an already tight course are like 4 inches of gnarly Bermuda think US Open here. Everyone had trouble and to be honest I was hurting after 6 holes but soldiered on. I am not the only one raising hell after all we are old farts and this is not the US Open. I think Tuesday we are going to call for an open vote. I know if the Director is hard headed I am going to withdraw I am not going to risk hurting myself over the deal.

Even though the greens as usual are crappy I putted well. I put my old beloved Zing2 back in the bag because I have had it like 35 years and have putted all kinds of greens with it.

My highlight of the day was an absolute nut job with the driver on our Par 5 14th. I caught it flush and will admit I had a little wind behind me. I did hit the 7 wood barely on the front and had a 2 putt birdie skimmed the edge of the hole for Eagle.
