I decided to keep the Newport 2, not refinish it & purchase myself an early  Christmas present - Phantom X 5.5 putter. Going to use my Pro Shop credits to purchase the Phantom and not buy any new wedges. I'm actually pretty happy with my club set up, except for the putter. Putting hasn't been a positive part of my game, so I will work on it this winter with a new attitude & new putter. 
The Newport 2 has sentimental value & will be retired & placed on my trophy shelf. No more use.

My local Play it Again can randomly have a hidden gem or 2 from time to time. They did a small business day discount of 40% off one item so I swung by to poke around. Found a Bettinardi SS2 in bronze finish for 60 bucks. It’s a little rough but Ive been playing with it on my practice green and am really liking it. Might get it refinished or just game it as is.

I personally just purchased a new set of Wilson D9 Forged irons 5-GW that I've been staring at for a month. The price was too good to pass up and it came with DG105 VSS shafts which is just a little lighter than my DG120's I usually play with. But I'm looking to go a little lighter with a little more of a mid launch/spin profile, and these should work great and still have that same feel my DG120's have during load/unload. Plus the VSS will help with the vibration dampening to help with elbow pain. Worse comes to worst, I just swap out for some graphite and move on.

Oh, and I got a new pair of Adidas Tech Response SL 3.0 golf shoes too. I need to retire both my Skechers, so one more pair to find.

Ok, well my poor Paypal account is getting a workout today.

Just purchased a Hackmotion Core system. Wrist set and flipping are my primary faults and this will certainly help me with that.

Also purchased a new pair of ASICS Gel Course Slide TS spikeless shoes. Now I have my new rotation for next season set for shoes.

And finally, a pair of "excellent" Sub70 JB Full Groove wedges (54 & 58). With the 15% off, $68 for each was too good to pass on.

I have been avoiding emails pertaining to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but one finally caught my attention. Let me preface this but saying I'm happy with my bag, I have plenty of shiny new golf balls, and there's not much I want that isn't a Rapsodo MLM2. 

Well, I got one from ShotScope and they are running a deal on their Connex sensors for $59.99. I have been looking for an Arccos replacement and couldn't pass this up. I even found it on Amazon for $49.99!

I'm just going to have to figure a workaround with the putter sensor, probably have to tape it since I'm using a SuperStroke grip. 

I'm excited to try ShotScope out.

I was weak, and just purchase the Sub70 56/60 TAIII wedges. I been wanting to try to them for a while, 15% discount hard to pass up.
Its going to be hard to replace my TM MG3 Wedges.. they have been really good for years now.

Got fitted by a Taylormade fitter at an X-Golf for the new 2023 P790s and a Stealth 2 3 hybrid in October, a week after they released. Absolutely loved them and pulled the trigger. Finally unboxed and unwrapped them and hit a sim yesterday. Again, Absolutely smoked them. Great distance and much better dispersion than my previous clubs. Had 1 mishit with the hybrid, but every club pretty much looked the same and on target.

 Black SM9 48° F grind- looking forward to filling that gap in my bag. The black will keep me focused on center strikes for that sweet sweet wear spot  

Also picked up some various counterweights to try out in the super stroke tour 2.0 on my Anser 2 PLD. Spent a week at 75g, now I’ve got the 50g in there. Noticeable difference in the stroke so far. Hoping it translates to a better looking card

Thank goodness CPO had a 30% off cyber monday sale today or I'd have to sell my left kidney on the black market to get swmbo that set of Apex DCB 21 irons for Christmas.   Pictures coming in a week or so!  

Maybe I can inherit the G410's!! 

Unless she likes the G410's better and doesn't want to upgrade, then I'll have to come up with a different Christmas present.

I bought the lag shot 7 iron.  After about a week of practicing with it I noticed my striking really improved.  
Granted I have a lot to improve on.
With that improvement I bought the Lag Shot driver at the end of October.  I get about 4 rounds in the backyard simulator a week and I've noticed my drives much more consistent and about 10-20 yards carry longer.

Now I'm waiting on the Tour Striker 7 Iron. UPS says delivery on 12/1.

Somebody stop me from buying more training aids!

Patience paid off, and my Superspeed Squeeze has finally been ordered after the 20% off that flashed on Cyber Monday. Looking forward to giving it the unofficial review in a little while to add to the kit from testing this year.

Also, finally ordered a laptop after researching for over two years and got the wife her big gift for Christmas, a professional-level document scanner from CZUR for her genealogy research and document preservation, so I'm feeling pretty good right now.

My wife wonders that all the training aids I have in the basement are for since I can't really train right now due to my back. I thought about a couple over the last few days, but held off buying anymore that I can't use.

Looks very similar to what I used with Fit for Golf last winter still have them and it makes for nice 30 minute at home work out

So got a pair of waterproof spikeless shoes at a great clearance price .. after checking reviews if they fit true to size .. which they don't... So they're being gifted to a friend with a slightly larger foot!

Got a pair of winter gloves - Cobra branded, didn't think they made them - and these do fit well and have a good level of warmth to them. 

Also got a pair of those rechargeable hand warmer gizmos .. in addition to 4 heating levels you can opt to have heat output on both sides of the device.

Non-golf purchase was on Cyber Monday for the house - a pair of new smart thermostats that are eligible for a rebate from my utility company, plus ongoing incentives if you agree to let them lower your A/C "one to two degrees" during peak demand periods.

Oh, and -

..don't know if anyone else took advantage of a pre production offer through the forum for "wind stopper" ¼ zips from Three Sixty Six .. back in July or August .. well those *finally* arrived!! (..and thankfully fit well!)

Cyber Monday deals on here got me.

Two pairs of Ecco Biom G5 BOAs for less than $180. Hoping the Gore-Tex works well. I almost always end up with wet feet.

Thought I was done until I found out the Maxfli Tour X's are now available in yellow and they stacked the 4 dozen deal on individual dozens. So, combined with the $20 app discount, $95 bucks for 4 dozen balls and a sweatshirt. That was a steal.

@Preeway I really like my Sqairz shoes.  Also impressive has been Sqairz Customer Service, very responsive & quickly seek to resolve your issue! Quite impressive. Plus the shoes are really comfortable.  I generally walk 18 holes 2 to 4 days a week and shoes feel great, plus I have my own sole inserts - Power Step for plantar fascitis.

Well, I recommend you check out the 2023 Superspeed thread for my thoughts on the program in general, and that of 8 other testers! My thread on the squeeze will hopefully go  live once I get it in hand, and I can center on a training program that works given the height of my basement, and the changing weather in CNY and my plans for life in general!

I'll need to add inserts too due to a nerve condition in my foot. Guessing this will help withith the overall fit as well.

I've been using inserts since 2016 in my golf shoes. The Power Step (which were recommended by my Podiatrist) insole inserts fit really well in my Sqairz shoes.  I know Power Step has an online sale.  They have inserts targeting foot issues.  I'm sure you're on your feet a lot being a coach.

What do you think of the quality of Three Sixty Six?  They have the printed polos for a great price and was thinking of ordering a few.
