Mark Crossfield is my go to for swing and teaching advice also don’t mind the videos with Coach.

Good good and Bob does sports also get a fair run for the casual watch feel as if you can just turn it on and pick it up anywhere also good for a laugh.

Alex Etches I like for club reviews puts his on personal twist on it all in a quirky way good to watch and gets some good info across .

If I am in a technical mood, it is guys at Athletic Motion Golf. Well produced videos with clear data and examples to back up their instruction / drills. Now - can I apply this instruction? Sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes down a rabbit hole.

If I’m having full swing issues, Shawn Clement will get me back on task quicker than anyone. Simple clear instruction. He gets me away from thinking “mechanical golf swings” and helps me refocus on the “task at hand”.

Current bag is PXG 0311 Gen5 Diver and 3 Wood, Ping 425 3 hybrid, PXG 0211 4-SW, Ping glide lob wedge with the eye grind, and Bettinardi mallet putter.

It's still Ian Frazier and Mike M. and their Club Champion channel, although I am still disappointed that TXG "sold out" to Club Champion and that Matt Blois left them.  However, I have also come to love Matt's Golf Liberty YouTube channel and his forthright and concise delivery style.

There's LOTS of other golf or golf-equipment/instruction-oriented YouTube channels that I enjoy, with Rick Shiels and James Robinson being near or at the top of that list, and Peter Finch isn't bad.

DR - Callaway Paradym AI Smoke TD, Newton Motion 4-Dot

4W - Callaway Paradym 3HL, Newton Motion Fairway shaft, 4-Dot

HYB - Paradym X 18*, HZRDUS Smoke Red 80S; Sub 70 949X 21*, same shaft

7W (if played) - Sub 70 849, ProForce Black 80-S

Irons - Callaway Paradym, HZRDUS Silver Gen 4, S-flex

Wedges - Edison 2.0, 53* and 57* (bent to 58*), KBS TGI 100

Putter - (currently in flux, but usually an Evnroll 8V

Ball - Maxfli Tour-X CG (2023)

I agree I wish it was still TXG, but Ian and his immense knowledge is too good not to watch. I have been watching most of Matt’s stuff. My only thing is I have got a little bit of a high horse vibe on some of it. I also enjoy watching Trotty for the same reason and Ian. Just little nuggets of knowledge you can’t just get anywhere.

If I'm watching for entertainment, I really enjoy Bustajack. That guy's driving motion is just ridiculous to me (Madjack is the more fundamental of the two which gives them a good balance). Rich Shiels is entertaining because he talks a lot about on the course mentality as well as being a really good golfer. I'm coming around on Horvat more and Bob Does Sports. Can't really stand Wesley so Bryan Bros is a no for me.

'Instruction' wise, Chris Ryan just clicks in my mind. But mainly listen and practice without watching.

For me, Alex Elloitt, he really gives great tips and make the drills much easier to do. Also part of the Saterday club (paid channel) which also helps me a lot, even as a crosshanded player. Definitely would recommend his channel. 💪🏻

For fun golf watching I like following Bob does sports, those guys crack me up! 🤣🤣🤣

For pure entertainment, my go-to is Ron Chopper Golf.

https://youtube.com/@ronchopper?si=63av--FMs5eysuJk

He's a local teaching pro from Perth who started this persona during covid and now it's taken on a life of its own.

Really great stuff and consistently hilarious.

Danny Maude

Played golf for over 50 years until my health and business calendar reduced my time to less then 5 rounds a year. Then 4 years ago I retired, changed my diet and lifestyle, lost 100 pounds and got back on the course. Its been a struggle but things are getting better.

Zach Allen for swing instructor.  Also currently intrigued with Christo Garcia whose instruction is dead opposite of Zach.  Apparently I thrive on confusion.

I don’t carry a fairway wood…

Big Al is awesome, he hits it so hard he puts a flat spot on it. His launch monitor/studio is second to none, the best I've ever seen.

For instruction, I usually watch Clay Ballard, AMG, Eric Cogorno, and Jerome Ruffin. Ruffin has great instructors on the channel.

Entertainment, Bob Does Sports and Random Golf Club. I often wonder why I'm watching Bob does sports because I feel like it's relatively stupid TV but I don't really have to pay attention and it's just background noise mostly.

Hate yourself, not the game...

I really like BustJack golf. That did a series last year where they played a course in each state.

I am also a fan of Rick Sheils, Peter Finch and Good Good.

YouTube Golf is very entertaining. For those who enjoy watching, I recommend watching Busta Jack and Mad Jack's club fitting experience. That fitter nailed it! Especially Mason Nutt's driver and 3 wood fitting.

Bryan Bros, Busta Jack, Not a Scratch Golfer, Zac Radford, Grant Horvat, Golf Sidekick and others. They all do golf vlogs. Instruction wise Danny Maude, Scratch Golf Academy, Mike Malaska. Allot of good golf content to be had on YouTube.

The one I consistently watch is Good Good Golf. It’s entertaining, lighthearted, funny, and pretty competitive golf being played. All the members are fun and mesh well together to make a very fun channel to watch on a weekly basis.

for golf lessons, I typically go to the likes of Danny M. And Rick S. They both do a great job presenting topics in a easy to understand manner.

Thanks,

Mostly Good Good. Gm_Golf is one I watched a lot of prior to good good. BustaJack, Rick Sheils, Peter Finch, Alex Etches are some I watch. I got away from watching instructional videos because I had an instructor tell me that I was doing what they were telling me to do, but there were other issues that caused me to slice at the time. His words were, you could be doing what they are saying to do and still not hit it properly. You’re going to work on what they say, but it may not be the reason why you aren’t hitting the ball properly and it hooks or slices.

I can’t believe nobody is following Stuart Cartwright. He is by far the best coach online. Follow him and him only and he will have you shooting in the low 80s. It all starts with a strong grip!

Two steps forwards one step back!
